The bamboo and black theme looks really nice. This shelf/caddy looks is made very well. It's solid in construction and the welds are very clean in manufacture. The finish is done perfectly too with no flaws or odd blemishes. It basically slips on to an adhesive type of hook system that's fairly solid. You can easily put your shampoos and other bottled items on it. I wouldn't recommend putting soap. To prevent calcium buildup, I actually wiped a thin coat of oil on it which I do almost every month. I'm using this caddy to replace a cheap over the shower head hanging caddy. This caddy is simple to install and is strong enough to hold probably most if not all shower products (soaps, shampoos/conditioners, wash clothes) that is found in a typical shower. The metal frame material is SUS304 stainless steel that is said to be 'Rust Resistant'. The bamboo along the back is very attractive and is a nice contrast to the black metal. The bamboo is attached to the metal using some sort of glue (see photo 2), rather than any screw or fastener. The use of glue is probably better as there is no hold through the wood for water to seep and end up causing issues over time. Hopefully the glue will last for a long time. A large adhesive sticker with several hook (see photo 1) for the metal frame to hand on, is provided. Simply peel off the backing, line it up carefully and press. You only get one shot, so make sure that you line it up carefully! Hang the metal frame on the hooks and you're done. A hair dryer should be used to remove the adhesive sticker. I have not tried this, so can't provide any guidance as to whether it leaves any sort of residue, etc. The strong metal frame is stylish and with the contrasting bamboo back, it looks great on the wall (see photos 4 and 5). I like the wood backing on it, makes a little fancier than just a metal frame. It has one adhesive that you use to attach it to the wall, but it says you can order more if you mess up the placement so that's kind of nice that you wouldn't need a whole new purchase if you made a mistake. Trick for hanging. What I did was figure out where I wanted it and with the backing still on it held that up using a level to make sure it was straight. I then used a water soluble highlighter to mark the shower, I guess a pencil would also work well. Then exposed like a half of inch of adhesive just to line it all up. The media could not be loaded. First off, it’s an attractive little shelf; the bamboo and black matte complement each other for a modern, minimalist look. Secondly, It is solidly made. Lastly, if installed in accordance with the instructions, it will be secure. I mounted it on a plastic shower enclosure, and, as the video shows, it’s supporting a couple of nearly full containers. I wouldn’t hesitate to triple or even quadruple the weight. The only caveat that I can think of two make sure your mounting it on a flat, even surface that is scrupulously cleaned before mounting. This caddy is significantly more aesthetic than other caddies I have tried in the shower! What it does not lack in visual appeal, it also does not lack in functionality. The entire caddy straight out of the box feels very durable and has a bit of weight to it. It has a flat piece of wood on the back which is fantastic for keeping your hygiene items in place and adds a bit of contrast to the caddy as well.
