I like mineral sunscreen, as it's much better tolerated by my sensitive skin. So far, I have seen no negative reaction to this sunscreen stick, and it gets the job done. While I use a liquid sunscreen for larger areas, this is great little product to carry in my bag or purse for touch-ups. Because it's a solid stick, it's perfect to protect my nose and cheeks if I'm out without a hat - super-easy to apply, doesn't need to be rubbed in, and no mess. I was on the search for a clean non toxic sunscreen stick that wasn’t super tiny like most of the clean ones. Other ones are less than an ounce and this is a 1.5oz so I was stoked even though it still is relatively small. I came across Royal Sunfrog after searching for a few days and purchased immediately because of the price point and the overall good reviews. I received it and tried it on my forearm and the white cast wasn’t as severe as other brands. It also felt moisturizing which is great because I have dry skin living here in Arizona. I primarily bought it for my son to apply to his face and neck. He is substantially darker than me taking after his father, and the stick blended well with a little effort. We had previously tried another sunscreen stick that was super white and hard to spread out , and a bit chalky. So this was really great. Since moving to natural, mineral based sunscreens, it's been tricky to find an affordable and effective sunscreen that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Well this sunscreen seems to fit the ticket. I run several days a week and there's never a day that I don't apply this sunscreen to my hands, arms, face, and the back of my neck. And as a ginger, I am very particular about the effectiveness of my sunscreen. This sunscreen has never let me down. Some might complain that this goes on thick and white. I actually like that it goes on thick and that you can see where it is so that you make sure to get even coverage. But if you rub it in, the whiteness quickly dissipates.
