These are good quality flannel, very cozy and warm. But the color is seriously lacking. I ordered the green ones, and based on other reviews expected a pale green. Nope. The color is so light, I thought they had sent ivory instead. I'd be tempted to toss them in the washer with dye, but that could make it worse - so I'll deal with having pale sheets. I deducted one star because after the second time I washed my sheets, the bottom sheet had shrunk and barely fits my mattress now. But they are still nice, warm and cozy. Read more

This is a heavy flannel sheet set and I like it. It is not the absolute softest when washed but very good for me. I use flannel sheets winter and summer because they are just more comfortable for me. It is warm in cold weather and not clammy in hot weather. It also fits easily over a thick mattress with a topper. Read more

I had great hopes for these and was very disappointed. They are not soft like flannel should be. I thought maybe they would fluff up when laundered and that didn't happen. They look like they are going to pill. They shouldn't wrinkle in the dryer like they did. The pillow cases wrinkled badly in the dryer. I bought these for the guest room. I guess family won't complain. Don't buy these. Don't waste your money. They are uncomfortable to sleep on. They are so bad I can't even give them to a resale store. Very happy with this purchase. We just put the sheets on the bed and they were amazing. They are very well made. The fitted bottom sheet fully covers the sides of out thick Novafoam Comfort Grande mattress and it has elastic corner stays. The top sheet extended to the bottom of the mattress on both sides. We realize it hasn't been washed yet and it will shrink a little, but this is a great starting point. Sleeping in them is excellent. Very soft and comfortable. Highly recommend. Read more

1/2023 update: Because these sheets are so well made (except for the undersized flat sheet) we bought a "Sea" green set for our new queen mattress. The sheets might as well be white. They are hardly green at all. 12/2022 update: When I first bought this set for our full/double bed in 2018 I was really impressed. The fabric is thicker than most and quite sturdy. What I especially loved is that the flannel didn't form nubs when I washed them. In 2021 they needed replacing so I bought - what I thought was - the exact same set. Unfortunately, this time the fabric formed nubs when I washed the sheets so I suspect the quality of the fabric has changed. It took about 6 months of washing for the nubs to finally go away but at least they did. Original review: My one big issue with these sheets is that the flat sheet isn't even wide enough to hang 6 inches on either side of the mattress. The standard/full flat sheet would fit a twin/single bed perfectly. This applies to both times I bought the set. I was hoping that the first time was just a fluke. I'm 49 and have bought dozens of different brands of flannel sheets over the past decades, trying to find the one that meets expectations. One was so bad that my brother and sister-in-law made a story and tiny action figures called "Nels" from the pilling coming off the sheets. Other sheets were not that bad but always wore thin and starting pilling immediately. Finally, these sheets....amazing. Expect your dryer vent screen to be packed the first couple washes. I've washed these more than 6 times and they are in pristine condition. Soft and smooth like silk. And I buy white and use a lot of bleach, so that is added stress test the sheets pass with flying colors (ha, colors, get it?). I almost considered buying more that I don't need, just to hoard them up, because it has taken so long to find sheets this good! Read more
