Gorgeous percale that breaths and feels wonderful
I bought the flat sheet alone to see if I liked this brand. I loved it so came back for the fitted sheet as well. I bought the blue and it is a bright, medium blue that is punchy but still neutral. This is a true percale sheet. Out of the dryer, It crunches and feels dry to the touch. It feels like a quality men's dress shirt. (If you like silky, fluid sheets, look for sateen, not percale.) This is like your grandma's sheets: they will soften with repeated launderings, and are great for hot sleepers. Percale has a relatively low thread count that allows it to "breath." The elastic on the fitted sheet is sturdy, and fits my 12" mattress well without the corners popping off. The fitted sheet needs no ironing, although the flat sheet needs a little touch up. I've been looking for true 100% cotton percale sheets for years, and found 2 sets this summer. This ought to keep me in percale for a long while and I'm thrilled. I'm a cotton snob and this is the real deal; the $18 pricetag makes it even sweeter. Read more
