I bought the flat sheet alone to see if I liked this brand. I loved it so came back for the fitted sheet as well. I bought the blue and it is a bright, medium blue that is punchy but still neutral. This is a true percale sheet. Out of the dryer, It crunches and feels dry to the touch. It feels like a quality men's dress shirt. (If you like silky, fluid sheets, look for sateen, not percale.) This is like your grandma's sheets: they will soften with repeated launderings, and are great for hot sleepers. Percale has a relatively low thread count that allows it to "breath." The elastic on the fitted sheet is sturdy, and fits my 12" mattress well without the corners popping off. The fitted sheet needs no ironing, although the flat sheet needs a little touch up. I've been looking for true 100% cotton percale sheets for years, and found 2 sets this summer. This ought to keep me in percale for a long while and I'm thrilled. Definitely all cotton which was what I wanted. It does wrinkle but that is to be expected with cotton. Good quality. Not super soft but isn’t uncomfortable. I only needed a navy fitted king sheet and you can’t find just that in the stores, so this was the best option. Read more

So far, I've washed them once and have been using them without any complaints. The texture is a bit rough, but it's not rough enough to bother me at all, and I'm really sensitive to textures. It's quite nice. The sheet is a bit stiff, and a little hard to put on my bed, but so far it has not come off at all. I can't attest on the durability yet, as I have not had them for long enough, but I'll update the review. They do not get hot at all, which is what I needed really bad! I'm a super hot sleeper and bought some really expensive sheets, but I had to rip them off the first night and couldn't return them. I got so upset and impulse bought this one instead. Such bad quality I threw in trash. Not even good enough to give to Goodwill. Thin and very rough material with strange weave. Feel I got scammed. Don't know what has happened to Amazon???
