I bought these to replace my set of Waterford crystal Marquis drinking glasses that had become very scratched after years of putting in the dishwasher. This picture is after about 6 months of daily use, and washing in the dishwasher all the time. No scratches or chips so far! Compared to the Waterford Marquis, these glasses are straight up and down, where the Marquis curve outwards a little bit, but both hold about the same amount of water. These are thick enough at the rims that they don't easily chip, as other crystal glasses have in the past. I actually ordered 2 sets of these (16) because we like them so much, and have enough to use for a big dinner party. Overall, I would highly recommend these. Read more
