We have a huge old table for our breakfast area and it was starting to leave rust marks and scratches on our new flooring. This clear plastic floor protector is a godsend. It is low to the ground so you can’t trip on it. You can spill water and it is easy to clean up and it is wide enough to fit the table and end chairs. It came rolled up so it took a week to lay perfectly flat but with hot summers here in georgia and the sun beaming down from all the windows, the creases went away without any real effort. We recently had the back porch closed in and had indoor/outdoor carpet installed. We ordered the mat to place under the blackstone grill, in order to keep the grease splatter off of the flooring. Who wants to scrub grease spatter out of indoor/outdoor carpet? The mat works great!! So far it is holding up to the extreme heat where we live, I was afraid it may start to curl up on the edges, but it has not! I actually got this chair mat to go underneath my makeup vanity so that I can protect the floor below and I’m not disappointed in the quality it unenrolled with ease and immediately lied flat on the ground below. I’ve had no issues with that coming up at any of the corners. I haven’t noticed any major scratches after pulling out my vanity stool, and replacing it day after day after day it’s not overly thick or overly thin so it was perfect for what I was utilizing it for and I can see it being used as it’s supposed to be in office settings with the same appreciation as I’m having with it. This is a terrible product. When you put an office chair on it the wheels sink into the vinyl and your office chair won't roll. On top of that you expect most stuff from Amazon has a 90-day return. Bought it December 10th and just found out I can't return it past January 31st. With Christmas and everything just let it go and figured I'd get to it later but now I can't return it because it's February 21st. Conclusion terrible product with a unexpected return policy.
