So I’m trying these for the first time, my experience with diy cluster lashes turned out to be good. It did get complicated and it could be because I didn’t have that exact clamp wand. I had a clamp wand that was for the strip lashes. And I also had slim masking tape to put over my lash tips on my eyelids. So far they look nice and I’m not holding my breath for these cluster lashes to stay on for a week. I toss and turn at night so they’re probably going to detach the next day☹️. I’m going to say this, the strip eyelashes are the best eyelash accessories to dress up ur eyes. Doing it yourself like eyelash extensions or individual strips are very hard. Eyelash extensions, the artist themselves are gonna rip you off for over $200 a set and then when you go back to the last tech, they are charging you another big whopper for fill ins. And getting individual lashes from the store is hard too because it’s arm work or it won’t come out perfect. Strip lashes are the easiest to apply and less invasive. I don’t care how fake it is. The smallest size is a little questionable but they do look nice all together. Just the spikes on the smallest size, you kinda need to give the inner most spike a tiny trim. I have been doing my own false lashes for 5 years and I have tried a ton of different kinds. I normally use black, but this time I wanted a more natural look so I went with brown clusters. I attached them with black lashtite glue. I like that these are very light weight so they don’t weigh down my natural lashes. The brown is pretty and subtle compared to what I normally do, and the ends are VERY wispy. The larger clusters are easier to apply/ navigate for beginners, but I cut the clusters in half to have a little more control over how they arch on my lash line. They do leave a brown residue on their tray which does make me a little weary of the lash quality and whether the dye will transfer to my skin/eye— but so far they haven’t bothered me. With lashtite glue they last about 10 -14 days. Overall, I like them for the natural look, but it did take a bit of time to adjust to the subtle look if you are coming from full black extensions. As far as the look of these lashes, they are pretty and look similar to the beyelian wispy clusters I used to wear. But when it comes to quality.. it’s a no for me. They are alittle hard feeling, they tear apart extremely easy no matter which way I pick them up. I even had a strand of lash hair fall into my eye from it just falling apart easy.
