I know because I work in the fright business. Now the product is by far second to none, if you are building a weight room are even a work out room for yoga these high quality mats stay in place and provide all the cush one could ever need, if you need just a bit more use a yoga mate. The mates are not slippery and are holding up great under my 300 Lb weights that my wife and I use. I don't see these mates ever wearing out in my life time. I'm even thinking of doing my entire garage floor in the building next to my shop and in the work area in front of all my work benches in my shop for my work crew ... I use these in my home gym. My floor is concrete but iron plates dropped even a few feet can chip or crack the floor surface. These mats are great to use over my floor and the seams between can be covered with a strip of black monster tape. Now dropping plates or even loaded barbells will not damamge the floor. I bought this rubber mat at the thickest available in hopes that it would be better to jump rope on due to its thickness. I was mistaken. It's worse than jumping on concrete. However, it would be wonderful for different CrossFit lifts and the ability to drop the weights. The shipping and the cost of the mat prohibits me from returning it.
