Perfect! I purchased the small silver can. It is 14” Height and 11” diameter on the top, and 9” diameter on the bottom. After putting several of these small mesh cans in my cart, I read all the reviews more than once and compared. Walked away from it. Came back quite a few times. Studied all the info I could get in the product specifications. I finally, decided on the Rubbermaid can. The homework paid off. It’s perfect for what I needed— a smaller recycle can that would be emptied more often and not stick out from the wall so far as we go out the door into the garage. We got tired of “kicking the can”—lol! I finally moved that other big can completely out of the house and started using a safer container—big Whole Foods brown paper bag. That got old after a month or so. I chose silver to go well with our stainless steel regular trash can—to have a more classy look—as if that’s possible as far as trash/recycle cans go. Actually, it really does look much nicer in that area. Its shape comes out to the exact measurement even with the trash can. The can is very sturdy, with a clean smooth surface all around. It’s light. It’s going to serve its purpose well when we have company. Besides being neater looking in that area of our home, it’s obvious to guests which is recycle and which is trash. This can was a better price than most. I believe I got the best value for the money. I’m just going to have call it a “classy can”— lol! Read more

I’ve used this trashcan on the daily in my room and honestly can hold a great amount of trash. Think about like 8 venti Starbucks cups empty of course all inside of it. The weight of the trashcan is like a feather. No dents so far because it’s just in my room Updated review since this was posted maybe close to a year idk anyways still love this trashcan (: Read more

Wanted a "small" but adequate sized can for my garage computer station. This can is perfect. Its not obtrusive, has a nice shape and appearance and arrived quickly. I like it very much. I use different color bags to spruce it up to fit my mood. 8-gallon bags fit perfectly, and I use 12-inch black rubber bands to neatly retain the bag. Works great for me. Read more

We were worried about finding trashcans that would hold plenty, but not take too much floor space. These trashcans are beautiful, but not designed for garbage (only paper). Beware of stacking them as they are extremely hard to separate! Otherwise, they really fit the bill. Read more

In the past, I used to just put the paper scraps in my office on the floor. And that system worked great. Until one day, my Cheetos ran out. So I had to go to the kitchen. I hate getting up, but I figured, why not. So I got up and suddenly I found myself on the floor. At first, I thought this action was my brain's way of saying it was time for a nap. (What a smart brain I have!) Then I realized there was this aching feeling in my back. While reaching for my phone to call 911, I realized my hand was lost. You see, there was so much paper on the ground, I was drowning! So, I searched Amazon for: "Blockchain based device to remove paper waste in an office using either Bluetooth 5.0 or WiFi 6.0." After a few hours, I found this Rubbermaid Commercial Concept Collection Mesh Metal Wastebasket/Trash Can/Bin (#not #an #ad #but #could #be). It couldn't tell if it was compatible with iOS, but I figured, why not give it a shot. At first, I was annoyed because it didn't come with a USB cable. I mean, seriously. I LOVE testing Micro USB cables to see if they are data or data+power. Rubbermaid was too lazy to even include one. Whatever. Eventually, as it started to become a collection place for my paper waste, I started to give it more stars. In fact, I would give it 6 stars, except for one fatal design flaw. After a few days to a week or so, paper started appearing on the floor again. I guess their printer ink business model is that you have to buy a new one every couple of weeks. Figures. Read more
