I recently purchased a Longaberger hamper that didn’t come with a protector. I searched online and couldn’t find one. I wanted to use it as a trash bin on my office. This was the perfect size to line and protect the hamper. It’s very sturdy and wasn’t overpriced. This was a great value. Read more

Amazing for doomsday prep laundry washing set-up. Picture included for this purpose. I bought these for one reason only, doomsday prep. They fit a significant amount of laundry; at least 5 pairs of denim adult jeans at once, or a dozen light to medium weight adult t-shirts, or a boatload of kids laundry all at once. I placed a grit guard in the bottom so water can flow around the laundry more efficiently, then used a manual plunger-style washer to agitate and plunge the laundry before throwing the laundry in a manual wringer, then sending it to the next step (rinse 1 or 2). This system works amazingly and I definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without these Rubbermaid containers! They really are nearly indestructible! My kids have thrown them down stairs (NOT with my permission, hmmmph), sat on them (also not with permission), and they've been accidentally left outside in a wicked hail storm and they are none the worse for wear! They are made from a softish, forgivable plastic but also quite thick so they just bounce whenever they are knocked over or dropped, instead of cracking. Literally the only thing that's "bad" about these is that if you stack them without a grit guard (or whatever you want) between them, you'll spend at least an hour fighting endlessly trying to get them apart. They are strong because they don't have darts or fluting of any kind, they are 100% smooth all the way around, which makes them stick together like the dickens when stacked! They came from Amazon this way in shipping and my teenagers and I spent an entire afternoon trying to get them apart without any tools so we wouldn't ruin them. In case anyone is wondering about my set-up in the photo, I have 5 Rubbermaid containers, 4 of them contain grit guards, then 3 manual plunger-style washers, and a manual bucket-style wringer. This system works great when you have kids who are helping do the laundry. They each have a step they can do, no one has to wait for a container or plunger, and with a permanent marker each container is clearly labelled which step of the process they are on so there's no confusion. The media could not be loaded. Purchased to line the inside of my laundry hamper for the nursery - baby clothes would destroy the hamper I think because it’s fabric, so I saw this idea to put a trash can inside. This was the perfect fit. Would only be better if it was white, but if it really bothers me I can spray paint it one day. Read more

Sturdy and just the right size for below the shelves in our kitchen pantry. It replaced the ancient, thinner, cracked kitchen garbage can we had. So happy I saw this online, and it was on sale, too! Read more

I bought 2 of these to use for hand washing clothes with a plunger style hand washing machine. The set up was cheap, is easy to use, and does a great job getting my clothes clean. So far, these cans have proven to be durable and have held up well to a slightly rougher use Read more

nice barrel but the dimensions at the top are very different from the bottom. I would have preferred less taper, that is, same diameter at the top and bottom. the bottom diameter is 12 inches. diameter at top is 15.75. I can use it but not for the project I had in mind. rating 4 stars because it is a good quality product. Read more
