I needed this for the A Christnas Story 10k and it was perfect. I leave in Cleveland and this race is the first weekend of December. I needed something a little bigger so I could layer underneath and this was perfect. My husband later used it for our Christmas party. This will now be used every year for my race! This is a great deal for the price and it was delivered lickety split! The felt is heavy duty and I did not feel there was any chance of it falling apart while I wore it. The string that is included with the costume to tie around your waist - I could take it or leave it. Nothing was wrong with it, I just wanted something a bit more substantial and I used some ribbon. It was as advertised. Somewhat large but that was ok because we were putting it over other clothes for an outside event. If you are a small person it would be too large. We rode our horses dressed in it for a Christmas event and it held up well. Packed it away for next year. I couldn't make it for what it cost. Very satisfied. Read more
It is very big, about 2XL size. Material is cheap sheet of felt, unevenly cut, some of the pointed end around the bottom were cut off and cut unevenly. It honestly looks horrible. Read more
Looks like a hot mess when you receive it, really large, cheap and not to mention that stupid rope. All I did was iron it, and bought a THICK Santa belt to go with it. Best costume ever!!!! I looked better than every elf I saw for the season! Also got the red and green stockings to fully complete it. Read more

Pro: - In theory, generic size will fit many sizes of people. Con: - Stiff felt fabric doesn't drape well to acclimate to different body sizes/shapes. - Felt garment material makes this a disposable costume. It'd be nice if garment was a nylon, polyester or etc. fabric that would hold up to standard wear stress and have the ability to be laundered. - I had originally planned on sewing bells on this garment, but felt won't hold up to the bells bouncing around; felt easily tears, shreds, falls apart and etc. Read more
