I was going to order #11 at first but I looked at a few videos online and they said to go 2 shades darker if you're using it for your lace wigs . I have a warm undertone on my skin but I hate that orangey look. A few girls complained about that with #11 and #12. So I jumped to #14 and believe it or not it's perfect! My wig parts look like scalp. The coverage is immaculate! And no orangey after effect. This really is some good foundation. I wish it came with a brush but you get a good amount for the price. My advice is to take your time and see what matches your skin tone by looking at some videos and the color chart Kiss shows on the pictures. Amazing for wigs! I’ve also mixed it with lace melting spray and a bit of medium-dark Ebin lace spray, it blends beautifully and creates a natural look. The creamy texture means you only need a little and will last a long time. It matches my skin much better than my usual shade 15 (I’m brown-skinned and only use 16 on the left side). I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this. I'm 57 and my skin has changed, so I'm always on the lookout for a good foundation. Powder types are horrible for mature skin, I haven't found a serum type I like. Liquid foundations are hit or miss. I thought for the price if it didn't work out I could give it to my daughter, who is a makeup hoarder lol Well, she didn't get this one. It's a keeper. It doesn't settle into fine lines, doesn't make my pores look like pot holes, has great coverage (not too much, not too little), is buildable, and it has a soft, beautiful finish. Using a setting spray it will stay for at least 8 hours. And you can't beat the price! I got the light/medium and the color is spot on - matches my skin color and tone perfectly (fair/medium, neutral skin tone). I use my facial oil first, then the foundation and it goes on sooo nice and looks just beautiful. I do think it might be a bit drying without the facial oil but I do have dry skin to begin with and always use my facial oil. People with normal skin probably won't have any issues.
