I have had a chapped lip and daily peeling lip problem for over 20 yrs. I had pretty much given up hope after trying every type of chapstick, Carmex, mutiple lip masks, multiple lip scrubs, Blistex, EOS, Aquaphor, Vaseline products, lotion, Eucerin, Burt’s Bees, organic lip balms, lip gloss, not wearing any lipstick (too drying), etc… You get the picture- if there was a product that said it would help, I tried it over the years, with no lasting success. I had resigned myself to my fate years ago, but I hadn’t tried lip oil before, so I tried this one. After 10-14 days of using it almost 24/7, I noticed my lips hadn’t started peeling for about a week or so. I really couldn't believe it at first.. then I checked the calendar today and realized it has been almost 4 months since I started using this lip oil religiously, and 4 months since my problem disappeared. Needless to say, I am ecstatic, and it’s crazy to see that it’s because of this lip oil - one of the least expensive treatments that I have tried. Go figure.. Even if you don’t have a severe problem like I did, this lip oil looks great by itself, keeps lips feeling moist for a long time, doesn’t have any weird taste and although it is a little sticky, it is not annoyingly so. It’s just sticky enough to stay on your lips without the need to reapply as frequently, like other lip moisturizers, which I really appreciate. Also, I bought 6 tubes for $6.99 (so cheap) and in 4 months, with daily use, I just started my 3rd tube.. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new lip oil! Read more

I used a Neutrogena product for years and years, then the formula changed. I searched for months then found this. This I can definitely live with. I like the cool feel upon application, nice shine, makes my lips feel protected. Honestly, glad it came in a 6 pack, I can't be without it. Read more

I have tried every brand of chap stick and lip gloss on the market in effort to repair my dry, dehydrated, peeling lips and none worked. It seemed impossible until now! I put this on when it arrived and I finally have pillow soft lips. No more peeling and cracking! Woohoo! For the price, omg! An even bigger win. You can spend a lot of money on a product that doesn’t do anything except look pretty. But pretty doesn’t matter if your lips are peeling and chapped. I learned with the very first application that a tiny bit goes a very long way! Your lips will love you for it. It is a bit sticky, but so worth it! Put a bit on before you go to bed and wake up with soft hydrated lips. I’ve found that benefits last all day. I can apply it in the morning, and long after the glossy affect has worn off, it’s still keeping my lips their softest. Of course having pretty, shiny lips is definitely an added bonus! Couldn’t recommend this product enough! Use it like any normal gloss with your lip color and reap the added benefits. Use it by itself for the softest, prettiest lips that you’ve always dreamt about. Add this wonderful price, you can afford to keep them handy everywhere; in the car, the bathroom, beside your bed, in your purse, your desk, ……. I never want be without it! Read more

I have tried so many lip oils and this, without a doubt, is the best. It has a thicker consistency and lasts longer than any I've tried. Actually, a local newscaster told me that she wears it so I tried it. Her lips are beautiful throughout her entire show so I new it had to be good, and it really is!! Read more

As someone who's constantly having to deal with dry lips, i'm always looking for something that's effective. I've been seeing this pop up on my recommendations for a while, so I decided to give it a try. Some pros I have from this product was that: 1. A little went a long way for me. I didn't need to apply so much compared to other glosses i've tried in the past. 2. It doesn't have that string-like thickness while on your lips. With some brands, the formula is pretty thick and causes a string effect everytime you speak or just opening your mouth. This formula is a bit thinner so even if you do end up applying a lot (which I accidentally did), you don't have to deal with that string effect. 3. The applicator has a curved surface. Even though that this is something small, I felt that it did help apply the product a little more evenly compared to a regular flat surface applicator. 4. The mintiness is mild. There is a small minty smell and taste, but it's tolerable (If you are someone who is sensitive to fragrances, then be careful if you do end up trying it out). 5. The product stays on for a decent amount of time. For me, it lasted about 4 hours (give or take) before having to reapply. This was also after I had tested it while drinking water for the majority of the day. 6. The gloss hydrates. I'm not disappointed with the hydration part, even though I do wish it could be a bit more hydrating, but it does get the job done for the most part. Some cons that i've found are: 1. It's advertised as a lip oil, but it's more of a lip gloss. I mentioned up in pros that the formula is more on the thin side for a gloss, but I don't think it's thin enough to be considered an oil. I do understand that there needs to be some ingrediants added in there to help build up the formula, but I would think that it would be a little more runny. 2. The formula's more on the sticky side. Just like a couple of other reviews i've read on here, the gloss has this stickiness to it. It does go away a bit as the product starts to wear off, but there is still a stickiness nonetheless. Some other stuff that I should note: 1. This did cause my lips to have a tingling effect after applying it. Idk if it's because of the mint fragrance or just the product itself, but luckily it wasn't enough to cause a serious reaction. 2. My package did have a leakage, so just be aware incase you do buy this. I found that warm soapy water helped get the gloss off the easiest btw. Overall, i'm pretty satisfied with the product, especially since I only paid USD$6.99 for a pack of 6. They're decent for the price and they came pretty quickly. I would have given this 5 stars, but like I mentioned my package came in a sticky mess and the product is more of a gloss then an oil in my opinion, which goes against what is being advertised.
