I bought this cube for my 34 pound Keeshond after playing with a friend's hound with her cube (which she loved!). The consistency of the cube seems to be sturdy and satisfying for them to catch and chew, it bounces erratically and really high, and the smaller size is perfect for my dog's and the above mentioned friend's dog's (who is about 50 pounds) mouths. My friend's dog's cube is a very bright red color - almost luminous - so it's easy to find. My dog's cube is green with some purple swirled in, so won't be great to find when we play in the yard after the weather warms up. I would have liked to have had a choice of colors, but am otherwise really happy with this terrific toy! Read more

This is hands down one of the best dog toys I have ever tested. I have a red nose, he's about 110 lb, and has been able to destroy every single dog toy I've ever got him. That includes nylabones, that includes Kongs, he destroys everything. He had the XXL ball from Ruff dawg, and he has lost it. I think it went into one of the neighbors yards, I just haven't figured out which one yet. So I picked this up to replace it. He's only had the cube for about a week, but it's still in perfect shape. There's no chunks out of it, no splits, no nothing. The ball he had for 5 months, and was unable to do any damage to it whatsoever. The cube is made of natural rubber, it is very bouncy, so I don't recommend throwing it in the house. The only negative I have to say and it's not the toy itself, it's the fact that when your dog gets it in their mouth it gets covered in slobber and it is extremely slippery. I usually have a towel next to me so I can wipe my hand off. But as far as durability goes this is the best dog toy I have ever bought or ever tested. If you have a dog that's aggressive and likes to destroy their toys, this one will most likely hold up. And for some strange reason if your dog is able to break it, it's guaranteed for life, kind of hard to go wrong with that. Read more

This toy was such a great addition to our dog Rosie’s collection. She loves to carry toys around in her mouth, chew on them and run to catch them. Prior to this he favorite toy was her heavy duty Kong, which she still enjoys. One of the fun things about this toy is that when you throw it on the floor, it bounces it various ways, often catching her off guard. It makes it so fun to chase it. And she loves just chewing on it too. Or carrying it around in her mouth like the picture shows. Great size, and seems very durable. Highly recommend! Read more

Our puppy loves this thing. The only problem is he also likes you to toss it for him lol. It has a really fun and erratic bounce that he gets excited about. It also seems like it's going to hold up for a long time. Our older dog is a notorious toy destroyer. We do try to keep this from him but he still gets it- though hasn't put any nicks in it yet. Unbelievably durable and fun for dogs. I have 4 dogs and 2 frequent visitor dogs. Two of them can destroy ANY toy you give them pretty quickly, but not this cube (or the ball shaped one either). Hours of play and entertainment and extremely durable. Great material. I was surprised it was worth the money! Read more

There should be a size limit for this. My 20# dog likes this thing, but it's bonked her on the head a few times, and now she's a bit nervous about it. Read more

We bought this RUFF DAWG cube because our beagle’s favorite ball kept rolling under the couch, and he would bark nonstop until someone fished it out. This cube doesn’t roll the same way, so it stays put—and that alone has been a game changer. He’s a tough chewer and usually destroys toys pretty quickly, including balls. But this one has held up surprisingly well. We’ve had it for about 3–4 months now, and it’s still going strong. He has limited access to it because he acts like he’s on crack when he gets a ball - so he only gets it a few times a week.He likes it just as much as his ball, and it serves the same purpose without the barking meltdown. Highly recommend if you have a chewer or a dog who’s always losing toys under furniture. Read more
