I got these for my partner and overall they’re a good pair of athletic shorts, especially for the price. The built-in liner is comfortable and snug, and he likes that it holds everything in place without feeling too restrictive. That said, they definitely run on the smaller side. He usually wears a Medium and we ordered a Medium, but they feel more like they fall between a Small and Medium. If you’re close to the next size up, I’d definitely recommend sizing up. The pocket options are great — side pockets plus a zipper pocket, which makes these really versatile for running, gym workouts, hiking, sports, or even trips to water parks or outings with kids, to keep all little things secure. The material is lightweight, very stretchy, and breathable, making them comfortable for movement and longer wear. It also has a wasit drawstring, so you can tighten if you do size up. The only other downside is that there’s a brand logo printed on the back of both legs near the bottom. It’s subtle and not super noticeable, but it’s not our personal preference. My husband loves these shorts! He says they are incredibly comfortable. The material is high-quality, moisture-wicking, and easy to put on. His iPhone 16 Pro Max fits easily in either the outside pockets or the liner pockets. He mentioned that the liner is neither too snug nor too loose, doesn’t bunch up when he walks, and allows him plenty of room to move. He likes the color of the shorts (he chose army green), and they haven’t faded after washing. The shorts stay in place, allowing for flexible movement. Hubby was a track star in high school and maintains his running to keep in shape. I bought these running shorts for my husband, who is 5'10" and around 170 lbs, and the Medium fits him perfectly. I have an arm band type of phone holder for when I jog but I needed something that would work when I'm doing my weights or playing pickleball or anything else that involves more arm movement and this looked very promising. When I removed these shorts from the zip-lock bag it came in (I chose the Arona Blue color} and inspected them, I was pleased to find that they appeared to be everything the listing claimed them to be. The outer material was breathable with a strong elastic waistband, plus drawstrings and the inner liner was stretchable. All the stitching appears good and it fit very well. There are regular pockets on both sides of the outer layer plus there is a zipper pocket too so you can be sure your keys or whatever will still be there when you're done. As shown in the listing, there is a pocket in the inner layer too that is an ideal place to keep your cell phone. I did a 1 hour stint on the pickleball court yesterday and everything was just as they said it would be. Overall I don't think I could be more pleased with these shorts. I wear sports shorts all the time and these don't look like running shorts on me but just regular casual wear shorts. On quick glance, I thought these had pockets with zippers but upon closer inspection, I have absolutely no idea what the zipper is for as the opening is only about an inch and its only on one side. There's also a loop next to the zipper as shown in the picture. Not sure why you would need to attach something to the loop if you are using it for running but whatever. The inner lining has one pocket where you can put a phone or other things in it like in the product pictures. It does fit my S23 Ultra phone with a case and pop socket but I dont think I'd feel comfortable having my phone or anything with any weight to them while doing physical activities like cardio. I suppose it's fine when using it in the gym doing weight training though. I feel comfortable with them on and moving around. The stretch material is good so don't feel any tugging or tightness anywhere. Would I get another pair for myself? Probably not, as I don't really like how they look on me but the shorts themselves are fine even though I still can't figure out the purpose of the zipper. Read more
