These sheets are so soft and warm, yet breathable. I tend to get hot flashes at night but these are great because they are 100% cotton and don't trap the heat, just keep you warm (if that makes sense). I washed these before first use (just used my regular Gain detergent and dried on low) and they fit well on my bed, they didnt shed too much in dryer. The Christmas print is very cute and perfect for the wintertime (looks great with my Christmas themed blanket I put over my regular quilt for the holidays). I am very picky about my bed sheets in general (only like 100% cotton Percale because I love the breathability and the cool, crisp feel) but want a warmer option during the cold months (my bedroom stays colder than the rest of the house during the winter due to the layout of my house and where my bedroom is (corner/2 outside walls, 2 windows, etc). So I purchased an Eddie Bauer set of flannel sheets and these. These are 100% comparable in quality to the more exspensive, name brand sheets. So im honestly just going to copy that review into this one, thats how similar and good in quality these are. So full disclosure amazon AI, yes its a duplicate review. These sheets are thick, heavy, and beautifully well-made. The fabric feels solid and substantial — in warm weather, the sheet alone could honestly double as a blanket. Any complaints I have come down purely to personal preference, not quality. This is a sound, well-constructed product that’s absolutely worth the money. That said… let’s talk real life. These sheets are very warm and extremely cuddly — too warm for anything above about 40° in my opinion. They are also… grabby. Like, commitment-level grabby. Depending on what pajamas you’re wearing, you may find yourself fighting for your life trying to roll over. These sheets want to cocoon you like a mummy. Sweatpants and flannel pajamas? Hard no. I’ve had the best luck with yoga pants, smooth cotton-nylon blends, or shorts. Because of that same grabby texture, they can also be rough on delicate hair. If your hair breaks easily, I wouldn’t recommend the flannel pillowcases without some protection. (A silk bonnet would be a very wise companion.) Overall, I really do love these sheets — but in central Texas, they may not be worth the price simply because our winters are short and mild. However, if you live somewhere with a real winter (temps below 35° that last longer than a week), these are absolutely worth it. Just… protect your tresses and choose your pajamas wisely. Read more

Very heavy flannel. I washed it two times before using it. Had very little lint fluff which surprised me. It is softer with every wash but I thought it was stiff initially. I wonder if it’s because of the way it was dyed. Only one side has the patterns on my green plaid. I do feel like they are good quality but I have had much softer flannels in the past. Very pretty fabric. Fit was perfect. I did need to wash twice before sleeping on them as they were rough feeling until after the second wash. Now, they are quite nice to sleep on. I ordered two sets as we have adjustable beds. I was able to sew the top sheet into one which greatly helps the width issue most sheet sets have. Length is good.
