Be careful that you order the correct filters for your housing. These cartrides worked perfectly for my housing. I've bought three of these so far because the price is less than the OEM filter for my camper. This filter has filtered out some gross looking stuff which would have otherwise come through the faucets or the shower so I'm glad to have it. The OEM cartridge is kind of pricey and having to replace that every 6 months would get expensive for the handful of times we use the camper through the year. Once this cartridge starts looking brownish and dirty from all of the sediment and hard water, I replace it. If it's the end of the season and I've only used it a couple times, I'll put it in a large ziplock freezer bag and store it in the fridge until spring camping. We've never had any issues with the filters coming apart and they do what they're designed to do.. filter. I would recommend it if you're on the fence about an aftermarket filter versus OEM.
