I'm 6'2" 245 lbs athletic build. XL fits excellent around the shoulders and just enough room in the waist. Great length too. I train 4-5 days a week and these shirts have been a godsend. They're light and extremely comfortable and they look great. They're also pretty durable for how light they are. Very happy with the quality. So much so that I bought 10 of these in multiple colors.
