FLATTERING!!!
WOW! This swimsuit is amazing! I’m 5’4” 135-138 lbs (size 4 jeans, size small tops) and I ordered size small. It fits perfectly except the cups are a little big. I am a 34B so I’m not surprised. I don’t think you can tell there’s a little extra room in the cups when I’m wearing it, so I’m not too bothered. Overall this swimsuit is great quality. I normally order more expensive swimsuits from Nordstrom so I’m shocked this swimsuit looks and feels so much more expensive than it is. The material is thick, comfy and stretchy. It looks like something you would buy from a higher end store. This swimsuit definitely has some tummy control and holds you in. I just had a baby a few years ago and this swimsuit makes me feel great. I am a 31 year old mom so I wanted a one piece that is classy, just a little sexy but still looks youthful. I’m at the stage of life where I want to look a little more appropriate for family beach/pool trips but I don’t want to lose the sexy/cute factor. I definitely think this swimsuit hits the nail on the head. I wish I would’ve ordered a fun color, but I didn’t realize how flattering this would be. I’m definitely going to be ordering more colors. I’m probably going to order the leopard or bright blue next. Wow I’m just extremely impressed! Most one piece swimsuits don’t really give the feeling of holding you in but this one certainly does. I also love that the cut on the legs isn’t too low, because that’s very unflattering on my pear shape. I can’t stand when the leg holes (for lack of a better word) come down really low and cut your legs/hips off. I like the leg cut to be a slightly higher cut, but not too high. The bum coverage is a solid medium coverage in my opinion. Not too cheeky to where your cheeks are all over the place but not too full coverage to where it looks frumpy. The swimsuit also stays in place really well all over. It doesn’t shift around and give you wedgies lol. I am sometimes a small or medium in swimsuits. I took a wild guess and ordered a small. I would say if you are between sizes you could size down based on my experience. If you have a large bust size I really think you will love this swimsuit. Like I mentioned there was room left in the cups for me so I think well endowed ladies will appreciate the cups aren’t super small. The cups are also more structured and substantial. The ruching is on the front AND back of the swimsuit, that is something you don’t often find. I’m not always a fan of ruching because I think if it’s done wrong it can actually make you look pregnant. This ruching is done RIGHT. It’s very flattering. If you’ve had kids or have a little extra in the tummy area, buy this suit!! I think a lot of different body types will work with this swimsuit. I am a pear shape but I also think apple, straight or hourglass would look fantastic in this. It’s kind of a universally flattering swimsuit in my opinion. No matter what your age, size or shape I can imagine this being a winner. The little gold accents on the straps are a cute touch. In these pictures I still had the plastic on the gold parts but since these pictures I’ve worn the swimsuit and taken them off. It came well packaged in a plastic bag and with a protective liner in the crotch. I don’t really have much else to say other than BUY IT! I purchased a sheer sarong to go with it and it looks fabulous. FYI- I purchased this swimsuit with my own hard earned money and this is a genuine review of a mom who found a flattering swimsuit! :) Update: I ordered the leopard suit in the over the shoulder strap style also. It’s the other style on this listing that is not a halter. I love it as well, but I think I like the halter style better! I’m buying another color in the halter style next. Read more
