The description said it would come in a generic box, since it was bulk packed. and to my surprise, it came in an actual Ryobi box when I was expecting just a brown box and a bag. As for the product itself, I tested it right away on my heatshrink wire connectors and yeah its a little gutless and low power compared to its corded cousins, but it did heat up enough to shrink down snug against the wire insulation in about 35 to 40 seconds. In short, it'll do the job I need it to and it's a good addition to my growing Ryobi one+ coection. Next tool I need is the hot glue gun! Read more
