Ryobi 18-Volt Cordless Heat Gun Bulk Packaged without Battery and Charger

The description said it would come in a generic box, since it was bulk packed. and to my surprise, it came in an actual Ryobi box when I was expecting just a brown box and a bag. As for the product itself, I tested it right away on my heatshrink wire connectors and yeah its a little gutless and low power compared to its corded cousins, but it did heat up enough to shrink down snug against the wire insulation in about 35 to 40 seconds. They still haven't the tech to get a heat coil up to any reasonable plug-in model temp (I.e 200 -1000F degrees. Use your blowdryer and save money. This unit Blows. Read more

This product has a safety switch which is great for a product that gets as hot as this Heat Gun gets. I use mine when using Epoxy/Resin as it is more reliable than a blow torch. Read more
