Excellent multi (4) pocket/dividers inside bag, clever additions for electronics (weather protected exterior USB charging/power plug with internal cable to connect to extra battery), headphone cable pass thru might be dated, but it offers another external to internal cable access location. Nice sized external zippered pockets for cell phone and ? long zippered pocket on strap. Bag is only available in black, but they do offer a green elastic cord than replaces conventional black elastic cord if you need some color differention. Bag can be worn in different configurations since bag strap can be attached on either side. Overall build quality is top flight, robust and easy to work zippers, elastized water bottle pockets are little tight for water bottles and elastic cord on outside offers another jacket stowage option. NIce they have added smaller D rings for snapping items to outside of pack. Pack tends to nest close to body, not a lot of bulk, discourages easy access for thieves. I used this vacation going island to island in the caribbean. The quality is great. I love how it has circle clip on front that I can hook zippers ends with. Helps Discourage pick pocketers. I like the pocket in the back aswell. The inside pockets help keep everything organized. Pocket on strap holds all size phones. Handy for creditcards and money. I purchased this sling bag as an alternative to a full sized diaper bag backpack. The size is sufficient for what I need - 2 diapers, a small pack of wipes, 2 spare sets of clothes, a small KeaBabies diaper changing pad, a bag of snacks for my older kid, and then my phone, wallet, and personal effects fit in the various pockets, and then the bag fits well in the storage basket of my compact travel stroller for traipsing through town. I like the RFID pocket, though I don’t have a way to test how effective it is. I really like the retractable key cord inside the main pocket, as that will help me not lose my car keys inside the bag. I’m also happy to have a spot for a small charger on the side, in case I need to charge my phone on the go. The zips work well, and while I initially thought the snap would be a pain, it’s actually better to have a single handed snap than a buckle here like other models, especially if you’re handling a wiggly baby with a dirty bum and need to get into the bag for a change of clothes. I do wish there was a loop handle at the top that I could more easily sling the bag around with, or hang on a door hanger or diaper changing table out in public, and may add one myself. Time will tell how well the quality is, but as of now, it seems to be great - no open seams, tears, or loose threads. There was a small patch of excess fabric inside the front pocket that would have been easily caught in the zipper when I first unpacked the bag, but it was easily removed with embroidery scissors. I bought this as a gift and I could not have possible found a better chest bag for him. It is extremely durable. He walks everywhere and it is keeps it dry inside and the outside dries quickly. I highly recommend this bag!! Read more
First, I bought the "small" because the "large" seemed too big for how I want to use it. I was right, the small was perfect size for what I wanted. However, I totally spaced on the design, and the "phone pocket" would go on my back, all, the, time. Meaning, if I put my phone in it, it's in an inconvenient spot to access it, and if I sit down, it's resting on against my back and gouging into my back. Yet, leaving it empty, seems like it would be annoying, as well. The construction seems nice, though. Everything seems to work like advertised. But, I would also note that the RIFD pocket is really not as deep as I would've like it to be. It will fit a passport and a some card, for sure. But, if you're not careful, if feels like bank cards could drop out, easily. So, be careful. I just don't like the idea of having to sling it around to access one or the other, so I might return it.
