Got for my husband as a Fathers Day gift. We went on a weekend getaway. Bag cones with a matching Ditty bag where he had plenty of room to pack his toothbrush, toothpaste, comb & miscellaneous items. The travel bag could have fit under his seat on the airplane, but he put it easily in overhead compartment. The nicest part was the underside zipper compartment where he put in a pair of flip flops and a pair of my sneakers. The shoe compartment keeps shows separate. He really liked that. The green color very nice. Comes with a carry strap which he didn’t want to use, he just carried by the handles. My husband said that bag was one of the best gifts I got him. I needed a weekender bag in a hurry, and after reading a few reviews and watching a video, I opted for this one. It has been one of the more surprising buys I’ve ever found on Amazon. I absolutely love it. It feels sturdy and durable and actually holds quite a bit more than I thought it would. I purchased the larger version of the two which has a separate compartment for shoes. This feature has turned out to be really helpful. I’m also really impressed with the quality of the canvas which is much thicker and heavier than I was expecting. I am not a fan of faux leather (who is?) but the camel color looks natural and the material is softer and more flexible than I’ve found at this price point. I actually prefer this bag to other more expensive brands that I’ve purchased, and because of its affordability I wouldn’t feel any guilt replacing it in two years, although I doubt I’ll need to. I bought to go on a trip for 3 days and everything fit perfectly! I fit I think 3 pairs of pants, 4 or 5 shirts, a couple pairs of shorts, a jacket, makeup and toiletry bags, and a few other small things along with 2 pairs of shoes in the bottom compartment. Of course it depends on the person and what they are packing, etc. but I was able to comfortably fit days worth (and then some) of clothes into this bag. I decided to use this bag as my carry-on and then had another bag as a personal bag. I was worried about it exceeding size limits for a carry-on because the bag is a good size once you fill it, but when I checked it at the airport, it fit perfectly in the bag checker. The only downside to the bag that I've found is that the shoulder strap is really unsupportive, especially when it's weighed down. If you're not planning on packing it full and lugging it across airports and up and down hotel steps, I think you'll be okay. Even then, it's not really the bags fault, it's as simple as gravity and me being an over-packer. If you are planning on using for a 1-2 day trip or use as a carry-on that doesn't include all of your belongings, I totally recommend. With that said, the material is a thicker canvas feel and the zippers are pretty sturdy. I think you get a really good quality bag for the price! Read more
