This travel bag is exactly what I wanted for a two day trip although it could be used for longer stays. It held a Pj's (long pants), 4 shirts, a pair of jeans and shorts, sweatshirt, socks and personal garments. The bottom zipper held a pair of tennis shoes, cosmetic bag and flip flops. This is THE bag for travel!! I have a special pillow I travel with due to neck problems. It is a heavy, buckwheat hull, full size pillow and it is hard to find a bag that it will fit into since the pillow is very moldable. This bag handled the pillow, my medicine bag, my jewelry AND, I could slip my liquids a book and a magazine with room to spare into the zipper compartment below! Having 2 very sturdy handles, a long and a short, allowed for carrying options. Having neck and spine options typically means someone else carries this bag for me but I was actually able to manage this bag myself for short distances due to the weight distribution and the straps. When others were carrying it, they remarked how much easier it was to carry this bag! There is plenty of room in here for a weekend trip, for sure! Just received, but love the x-large size, color, design and quality. It does appear to be faux leather, I don't care. The shoe area at the bottom is good size. I see many flip flops fitting. Love the slider opening on the back to fit over luggage handle! Will see how it holds up. Got the navy strips, really pretty. Inside looks like it will hold several days clothes and makeup easily. Read reviews and compared sizes on lots of these bags. Glad I got this one! UPDATE: Travellers with this. Fit in overhead bin easy. Don't think it would stand up as a checked bag, but you can stuff a lot in it. Shoulder strap helpful. Love the shoe holding bottom too. Easy to add to it, if checked bag needs to be lighter. The shoulder strap is WAY too long. I had to poke my own holes in it to make it short enough. A lot of holes. I am 5’3” and on the shortest setting the bag would hang to behind my knees. The bottom compartment was nice. And it fit enough things for an overnight. The luggage sleeve made it easy to carry on the roller bag, except for the excessively long strap getting caught on things. Also, the pocket ON the sleeve was handy for my phone and passport while I was traveling. The bottom did get scratched pretty easily, but it still looks fine. It’s a good overnight bag, but I think I need something a little bigger for a full weekend. Read more
I travel every week and this is perfect for me! I fit my slim briefcase in the shoe compartment and use the convenient pass through to sit it snugly on my roller bag! The top compartment fits so much and the “leather” holds up! The bottom compartment hiding my briefcase allows me to travel through airport boarding with only two bags! Read more
I’ve never written a product review but I was so happy with this purchase that I had to share to help others trying to decide which to get. I bought the large instead of the XL and, even though I was nervous about the size when it first arrived, it’s worked out perfectly. I fit 2 pair of heals and a pair of flip flops in the shoe compartment. In the main compartment I fit 2 blazers, 2 T-shirts, 1 blouse, 2 pair of pants (one was a pair of jeans), 2 dresses, a pair of pjs, underwear and jewelry and a straightening iron. In the side pocket I fit all my non-liquid toiletries. The only thing I couldn’t get in was my airline approved toiletry bag but I just put that in my purse. And it fits in under the airplane seat perfectly. For the price it’s sturdy and seems pretty durable. I got lots multiple compliments in the airport and from the hotel staff when I check in on how cute it is. I’d totally recommend. Read more
Purchased for short weekend/overnight trips. Love the added feature of the shoe section so my shoes don't touch my clean clothes. Could also use this under compartment for the dirty clothes. Not overly big, so trying to pack for a 3-4 day trip is too small, especially in the winter when you need long pants and sweaters, but for summer travel I can see this working perfectly for a 3-4 day trip. Not sure of durability yet, taking on the first trial run on a plane next month...I'll follow up on durability IF it fell apart. But thus far, we are happy! Read more
The bag is perfect but came so wrinkled I had to iron it. It bothered me that the trim is so wrinkled and it couldn’t be ironed. Wouldn’t have minded paying a bit more if it had a bit more structure. It’s quite flimsy. I love the style though. It’s very preppy. Read more
