I love this period underwear so much! it lasts way longer than any pad or tampon even on dark days. It doesn't leak at all, but I will say the actual pad that absorbs has a bit of medium coverage. think of it as a size 4 always pad. so be careful when going to sleep. I accidentally woke up on my back and some leakage occurred (but of course I was on my dark day so that also played a part in it). but other than that, the material is amazing, so comfortable and smooth like fabric. I would also make sure you have a detergent that won't ruin the absorption of the actual pad in the underwear. I wish I knew that you couldn't use regular detergent or you risk ruining the underwear as a whole. but in conclusion, this is a great replacement for pads/tampons!
