It is very easy to use and scoops a perfect size cookie dough ball every time. It is very easy to grip and release the dough onto the cookie sheet. I needed a new scoop to replace an old one that broke. This scoop is the perfect size for cupcakes - 3 tbsp fills half of the cup perfectly making nice consistently sized cakes that bake evenly. Time will tell how long it lasts - the gear mechanism on scoops like this always tends to get stuck eventually. But the price is reasonable and I hope it lasts a couple years of consistent use.
