The paint finish was extremely lacking. I would find gold paint chips on the rug and the top edge of the frame peeled. Completely frustrated with their customer service, leaving me the responsibility to re-package the table & bring it to UPS. This was after weeks of calling Amazon for help. My husband and I are in our mid 70's and between the physical stress along with the emotional stress/frustration we were extremely overwhelmed. I spent a very long time researching the perfect coffee table for our new home. I love the gold and bamboo esthetic. It is very heavy and package arrived perfectly. I will be returning it, but not vecause there's anything wrong with it, I just didn't consider my 4-year old that likes to stand on furniture when I bought it.
