these lamps are gorgeous-very well made, nice big size for my large living room, and nice finials. After I ordered them I had second thoughts-they might be too bright shiny light silver...I thought I will wait to see what they look like and can return them if they do not work out...OMG I am so happy with them-they are beautiful-this is a mercury finish in antique silver with gold tones as well, so if you are looking for a shiny silver/chrome type look, these are not in the evening-more shiny in the day. If you have ever shopped for just a lampshade which is what I was originally doing-one alone is a minimum of $50 for a decent style/color...this lamp with a shade is just over $50, you get two for just over $100 with a shade and they even give you a lightbulb for each lamp-this is another "one of the best things I ever bought". they are also packed in a way that you would have to work hard at kicking it around for anything to break-nice job, very happy camper... Very nice quality, even the cords are nylon rope covered and each lamp comes with a LED light bulb in the box! Great size for living rooms. Very nice metal turn switches as well. Read more

Went to turn off the lamp, knocked it off the end table and it landed on my carpet flooring, not a very far drop. The bottom of the lamps are very unstable, as they aren't sealed/nothing flat for them to sit on just the edges of the bottom. It completely fell over with no effort at all (it was in the middle of the table). It's top heavy, so easy to knock over. Completely broke the lamp in half. Second lamp was on another end table, so we moved it to a more stable location. It arrived with a chip on the top edge, and has been slowly cracking down the side ever since. I don't expect this lamp to last much longer. Bought these when there weren't that many reviews before. Regret that decision now, could have bought real glass lamps and they would have lasted longer. These lamps are gorgeous. The bottom is open, so it is just the glass sitting on my table. I’m concerned that it isn’t very stable so I’m returning them. Also, be sure you actually use a tape measure to get a clear picture of the dimensions; these are big lamps. Read more
