I’ve had this mattress cover in a king size since 2020. It really is waterproof. At this time my first dog was not potty trained and she relieved herself on my king size Tempur-Pedic mattress multiple times. This stopped it from damaging my investment! I also feel a cooling sensation from it which I love, I’ve bought covers where it felt like a terry wash cloth and I was sweating ridiculously. NOT THIS ONE, this one is cool and breathable. Conforma easily to the deep, king mattress. Buying again because I’m replacing my old box-spring, full mattress I have in the guest room. To wash it I’ve set it on a normal, cold water setting and let it run. To dry it: low heat for 30 mins or medium of 20 mins or less. I got these for my daughter who is learning to potty train and is in pull ups. Some mornings she wakes up and the pull up has leaked. These sheets keep the mattress from being affected by the diaper leak and are very easy to wash. I wash them on gentle cold with a mild detergent and then i tumble dry low. They take forever to hang dry, but the dryer on low works just fine and has not affected the durability and quality. I havent had to find out if they can hold up to a full on accident but my hopes are high. The girls have spilled water on the beds before and it seems to wipe right off without soaking through. They are also pretty soft and do not have that scratchy plastic-fabric feel or sound. I put them under the fitted sheet and really don't notice its there until I need to wash them. Aside from potty training, these would work great as just a stain protector or for pets or anything else. They are deep enough to easily fit around the whole mattress plus a little extra so I bet I could get away with using up to a 3in mattress topper with these as well. 10/10 would purchase again. Fits perfect on my king size mattress. Keeps the mattress completely protected. Washes well. Has a cool feel to it so it doesnt make the mattress hot. I have one on my bed and have purchase another one for my sons bed. Would definately recommend and would buy again if or when needed. Read more

These are a must for young kids. I've had episodes of vomit and urine and neither have leaked through this protector. They are soft and there is no crinkly sound when you lay on it. I initially had these in twin but came back and bought full for my kid who moved up to a full bed. They are not water proof on the sides, but that's fine with me. I always hang dry anything that is supposed to be waterproof, including these, as I think get more use out of them that way. Read more

I was a bit skeptical of a waterproof mattress cover that wasn't essentially a plastic coated bag. I am supremely impressed with the properties of the cover. We have two kids and we wanted something that would save against the rare nighttime accident. We have covers, but they aren't water resistant and so they are basically useless for our needs. I didn't want something overly plasticky since their accidents are pretty uncommon. I opened the package out, took the cover in my hand and poured water on it to see how it did. The top held water and has some absorption as it is a fabric type top, but the bottom side was bone dry. I let it sit puddled in my hand a while and my hand stayed totally dry on the bottom side. For a waterproof cover, I expected it to be loud and fairly plasticky, but not so. It's soft, comfortable, and looks good (as in inconspicuous and not shouting the fact that it's a waterproof mattress cover). I am impressed and happy to see it work. Read more

This mattress protector is exactly what I wanted. The size fit my extra-thick (12") mattress, with a 2" topper on it.
