I am glad I purchased this soft soap. It is a much better value than other brands. Having a larger pump bottle saves waste from the little bottles of other soft soap brands. It has been years since I used Safeguard. The scent brought back memories. This is a good product at a good price. The product description clearly states this is to wash away bacteria. This is not an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. (Although Safeguard does sell hand sanitizer on Amazon.) The product description photos also show the fill line on the back. You are getting the amount advertised, but the bottles are not filled to the top, so they do not leak in transit. Lathers well and has a soft clean scent. This is my second time purchasing these refills. You can’t beat the price. These refills are cheaper than the refills of the same soap and same size at Walmart. Some people are mentioning the bottles not filled. Look on the back of the bottle, there is a fill line. It is not supposed to be filled to the top. I also noticed what others are saying, about the color and scent. when I first purchased a couple of bottles, the soap was white and I liked the smell a lot. The refills that I have purchased, all have orange soap and smell is not as great as the white, but they all say they are fresh clean scent. They smell like Bartlett Pears. I am NOT into pretty smelling soaps. I am into great smelling hand soaps. These bottles are HUGE and the pumps are great. Kills everything without smelling like medical supplies. I will never buy anything else unless they change these. Ever. I can't believe how inexpensive this hand soap is (bought in the 4-pack) especially given how much I like it. It does the job of lathering and cleaning just fine, but what I REALLY love about it is the scent - a strong pineapple (orange?) fragrance that I MIGHTILY enjoy every single time I wash my hands. The only downside, and it's a minor one, is its orange color, which doesn't look great if you use a clear dispenser. But other than that, it's inexpensive, long-lasting, and SMELLS GREAT! My family of six goes through a lot of hand soap, and it's just not cost effective to buy small bottles that only last a week. I like that these bottles are a bit larger and last longer so we don't have to replace them as often. While I like the fruity scent, I was hoping that this would be the other scent safeguard makes, which is more musky. Great every day liquid soap. Does not dry out your skin, but doesn't leave your hands oily-feeling either - it's just right in the moisturizing department. Scent different but light and pleasant and doesn't linger. Appreciated that this was available when most liquid soaps disappeared from store shelves at the beginning of the pandemic. Only one sleight drawback: container is larger than the contents for no good apparent reason. But there is a "fill line" on the back so it is not totally deceptive. Read more

I have loved this product for years, and it's not always easy to find in a store locally. It was easier to find during the pandemic when more soaps were stocked in stores, especially in this larger pump size. The scent is the best, and the soap does not dry out my skin.
