I have purchased the perfect safety glasses for use when working at arms length. Whether I’m looking overhead, very important as an aircraft mechanic, or under an instrument panel, these are the glasses to buy. Don’t be thwarted by the reading safety glasses, I highly recommend these glasses for all you maintenance technicians.They have the appropriate ANSI Z87 impact rating and are perfect compliment to my prescription progressive safety glasses. The best part, the cost compared to prescription safety glasses. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer, make them available with an amber or orange lens. Thanks for a great product. I purchased these full lens magnification safety glasses specifically because they were advertised as +2.75 magnification lenses. I paid what I considered to be a premium price for them in hopes that they would be exactly what I needed. I was disappointed to see that the magnification isn't identified anywhere on the lenses or frames when I received them. Maybe this pair was improperly packaged? They appear to be a different magnification, which I have no way of verifying, and are not very comfortable to wear either. I have another set of 3.0 safety glasses that are much more comfortable to wear, that I can see well with, so that's what I use at work. I will use these as a back up pair, in case something happens with the other ones. Read more

I'm a mechanic and welder that TIG welds a lot of thin materials. I need glasses to see up close and to weld. I didn't feel my grocery store readers were safe to use with a grinder so I got these. I've used them for 2 weeks and love them. They fit under my Optrel hood with room to spare. The optics are distortion free and fit my face well. I would recommend getting a strap to wear around your neck because the top of the glasses are sealed with foam so staring out the top of the frame to see at a distance isn't really possible. I also clean the glasses with Plexus plastic cleaner and a microfiber cloth and ZERO scratches so far. Read more
