This Safly home gymnastics bar is fantastic and easy to set up! I got this as a Christmas gift for my daughter, but decided to give it to her now. There are some really great features for this gym bar that I thought were well thought through in the design and construct of the gymnastics bar. For example, its height adjustable, so as your child grows, you can move the bar up and create more height. There is a screw pin assemble that keeps it in place, instead of just a little pin. I think this was a great upgrade and made the unit very sturdy. My 8 year old, 58 pound child swung around on this bar in almost every direction possible (it’s not for the faint at heart moms!) and this unit didn’t shift or sway. After watching it for weakness or instability for the first half hour, I was much more confident when I didn’t see any red flags to let her play independently on it (and go about my day). We currently have this set up inside, as the weather is cooler. We are currently looking for a gym mat to put under or around the base for added safety. The base has anti slip grips and the design of the unit has a triangle base for stability. My daughter definitely put this to the test, and it’s a sturdy, solid frame. My daughter also loves that it was barbie pink in color. It’s also great that it can be moved outside and is powder-coated so that it will not rust and is protected from the elements. Hardware included, and all pre-drilled holes lined up (huge bonus, 5 stars!) I recommend this Safly gymnastics bar for all girls and boys who enjoy flipping and swingling around. It’s great exercise, hand-body coordination, and is entertaining and fun! Fun without batteries and not made of plastic! Lastly, I love that it folds up and can be stored in small spaces, however, I don’t see this spending much time in the corner! Absolute Fun! Read more
Great affordable option! No direction came with it but it was pretty straight forward putting together. Easy to go up and down on heights, kids can adjust it. 5 year old plays on it most but older siblings and cousins play on it too. Sturdy and fun! This was one of the best purchases we’ve made for our girls! It is easy to put together and very sturdy for them to spend countless hours on it! The media could not be loaded. My 7-year-old daughter loves this pink bar! When she began attending gymnastics classes a few months ago, she struggled pulling herself up on the bars in her class - she could not pull herself up at all before. However, with consistent at-home practice with this bar, her arm and core strength have improved immensely - she can now pull herself up and even perform tricks! I appreciate how this bar is adjustable, so it can grow with her for a few more years. It is thick, high quality, easy to set up, easy to use, and safe. We have not encountered any issues with it. This was very easy to put together and seems sturdy. I did a flip on it and it didn't tip or move (130 lb female). I was a little disappointed at how small the bar was. In the photos, it appears to be a bigger diameter than it actually is. See the photo, which is an adult female hand next to the bar. I thought the bar would be bigger. Everything else is great. My daughter loves this bar! She loves doing the flips she learned in gymnastics and It is so sturdy that I dont have to worry about it collapsing. It was very easy to put together and folds up just as easy to put out of the way. The padding on the bar is a great addition for the littles to get used to how their lower abdomen sits without the pain. Read more
Our kids and all of their friends that come over love this thing. It lowers enough that our younger kiddos (3&5) can use it, and goes high enough that our 7&9 year olds can still use it comfortably. Stable enough that no one has tipped it over yet, and I like that we can just fold it up and put it aside when not in use. Sometimes one of the little screws on the legs comes loose but we just tighten it back up as needed. Read more
