The first model was defective, but the replacement is excellent and I am very happy with it. The safe is sturdy, fire-proof and easy to use; it is great for the price. It can be opened with a combination pin or with the emergency key. The plate that covers the key hole can easily be removed by placing a knife point under the edge of the plate. Unless one knows that there is a key hole, one would not expect it to be there, because the plate looks as if it is firmly anchored to the front panel. This is a nice safety feature. Read more
Great buy for the money, secure, has an alarm, and fits 3 or so pistols along with some ammo if you pack it to the brim (I could probably fit more but I wouldn't want to scratch my guns) instructions were unclear however, and I had to filter through YouTube videos to find how to program this safe. For exactly what it says, it is a good safe. It bolts to the wall or floor and is a good size for a couple hand guns and some ammo. It is not water proof or fire proof aka the door does not feel heavy enough for either and there are gaps which are evident when the door moves slightly when entering in your code. I had similar issues getting my code set, but once I did it is pretty easy to use. It is very open inside, which I was pleasantly surprised about, but the metal is thin, so I can't imagine it would withstand a ton. But otherwise an ok safe. I will post pictures if I ever remember! An absolutely awesome safe for the price. I must admit I have several safes and this one is by far for the type and money a very good buy. I was a little skeptical at first, but after getting the deliver was extremely happy with the buy. I would certainly buy another one and probably will as I have needs for more than one safe. So disappointing, the batteries died. I tried using the keys that were supplied with the product and to no avail. Cannot get in my safe. I have valuables That I need and now the knob won’t turn the lock engages or unlocks but I cannot get the thing to open what a waste of $110 plus tax and PS your customer service email was not helpful in anyway so thanks for supporting your products. We bought this safe and shortly after the 1 year warranty was up the dial to open it fell off. This made it unable to open even with the key. Was fun to have to figure that out but would not recommend as a product. Read more
