I am amazed at the craftsmanship of this little medal, especially for the low price point! It comes in a small drawstring bag that makes it easy to gift to a loved one. The metal is about the size of a large coin and measures approximately 1.77”. It has some weight behind it that is surprising for its size, which is typically indicative of quality metal. The clip is just as durable. I had some issues bending the clip to fit on the visor of my 2014 Toyota Camry. However once I had it secured to my visor it has stayed put! I drove frequently for work and even after nearly four months in my car it has not moved. On the medal there is an engraving of Saint Christopher carrying the Christ child through turbulent waters. It’s very well done and there is a lot of detail in the faces. The outer edges read “SAINT CHRISTOPHER PROTECT US” and even the lettering is crisp and clear. Saint Christopher, the patron saint of travelers, symbolizes safe travel and protection, and overcoming obstacles, representing devotion to the patron saint of travelers and is regarded as a universal symbol of safety while traveling. I love surprising my friends and loved ones with little meaningful gifts when I can. I ordered this for my husband and snuck it in his car to go on the visor. The first thing unnoticed when I help it was the weight to it. It didn’t feel like low quality metal. When I went to put it on the visor, my initial thoughts were backed up by the snug fit onto the visor. It will not be sliding or falling off anytime soon. Well, St Christopher strikes again!😄 This is so well made! For the price point, I was afraid that the quality wouldn’t be too good. I was so wrong! Excellent engraving of images and beautiful detail! It is a heavier piece and well fashioned. The metal cleans well with any metal polish, (but I prefer Wenol. It brings a shine to any metal product you use it on and can be used in glass too!) It slides easily in any car visor and stays! No falling or twisting when you have to use the visor! Just tight enough! The value of this beautiful medal really impressed ! I noticed other products the company has, and can’t wait to purchase more. Very pleased, and would make a great gift! It comes with a little velvet bag that fits it perfectly. Read more
