As full-time residents of South Florida, our family goes through a lot of towels on a weekly basis between home, pool and beach. Our daughter loves the hooded designs, so when I saw this flamingo towel from Saint Eve Kids, I ordered it for review. The result: Our 6 year old loves it. The colors are vibrant and true to the pictures on the product page. The hood and hand scoops work well for a snug fit, and the towel is large enough to cover a range of ages, but not too big to be bulky or long enough to trip over (our daughter is 48"). The material is soft and absorbent. We have a bunch of these hooded animal style towels, and this one is at least a few millimeters thicker than the average. It's noticeable. The stitching is mostly hidden/protected, and is of good quality. Finally, at the current price of under $20, this towel is a great value. I would not hesitate to recommend buying it. The colors are really cute and there are little pocket type things in the upper corners for my kiddo to put her hand in. It's really absorbant and she loves using it for bath time. Stands up to washing and drying pretty well (no snags or pilling or loose threads after 4+ washes in cold water and drying on high heat). Minus 1 star because it's not as soft as other kid towels that she has... but that may just be a me thing since the kid does not seem to mind one bit. Read more

This beautifully made, soft, absorbent towel has my grandson exited to be surrounded by so many swimming sharks! It has also made his little sister envious and wanting one of her own! So guess what Gramma has ordered! The little mermaids swimming in pink for her😂 The kids are given their baths together by Mommy or sometimes one of their grandmothers. My grandson has Cerebral Palsy and is not yet able to sit stably unsupported. He usually winds up alone on the couch waiting for his sister and Mommy or Gramma to come back to help get pjs on. He quickly gets cold and is not happy 🥶🙁 Now he’ll be all wrapped up in his new towel and no longer shivering while he waits👍 I’m hoping that when his sister can get wrapped up in her mermaid towel maybe she’ll come out of the bath first and be willing to walk out to the couch instead of feeling the need to be carried🤞 This blue shark towel is super big and the point on the hood makes it look even longer than it is! Super cute, well made and long enough for little big kids. My five year old still loves his hooded towels but not the fact that they only cover thigh high, the toddler ones just don’t cut it anymore. So the search began. Landed on this one after trying a couple others and it’s a keeper. This one being cotton actually gets you dry unlike the poly blends that just seem to move water around on your body. Problem one solved. This towel falls just below the knee on this 48” tall kiddo and is also wide enough he can wrap himself right up. So he isn’t tripping over it or running around like a super model in St. Kitts either. Problem two solved. Does it have little hand pockets so you can chase your older brother around like a shark with fins and yelling “I’m a shark”? YUP! Maybe not the best right before bed but fun nonetheless.
