I was looking for a skirt to coordinate with a bejeweled midriff sweater I bought a while back and have yet to wear. When I found this skirt in the silver color and midi length, I thought it would work perfectly...it does and I am very happy! Because it is stretchy and a longer length, I can pull it up so that just enough, but not too much, of my midriff is showing and the skirt hits just above my knee which is a nice departure for those who wear lots of shorter skirts. It fits snugly so you definitely need to size up as others have said. I generally wear a medium in junior skirts and pants...I bought the large size skirt and it fits me perfectly. The price is good and it is decent quality for the price; as is usually the case, you get what you pay for...if you want a high end, high quality finish, you might need to pay more, but for a trendy, flashy item that is not a wardrobe staple, this fits my needs and then some. I purchased this skirt for my wife in black, then silver, then pewter, and finally in red. She looks ridiculously great in the skirt, in any color. She's 5'7 145 lbs, 39-29-39, typically size 8 skirt, and we purchased medium. Fit is clingy, smooth and super sexy. Material is thick and moves well. These are her sexiest skirts in a closet with 50+ skirts, with black my favorite. Very nice liquid look, without wrinkling or bunching, and she says it fits comfortably. Unfortunately, the red was defective - the dye had white streaks where it appeared that the garment was folded before it was dry. So we ordered another immediately, and the replacement had the same problem. Obviously a bad batch (January 2016). We've now ordered an alternative: JustinCostume B00LUH2CD0 (not Amazon Prime) and it's on a slow boat from China. Read more
Couldn't IMAGINE HOW a skirt would make NOISE when you walked in it despite comment Lizzie made stating just that so I bought it. When I received it and I tried it on, I found out how!!! :-( I thought the skirt was pretty, also well-made, accurately described, looked nice on (yes, order UP 1 size tho) but when I tried it on, IT MADE NOISE WHEN I WALKED---IMMEDIATELY & CONSTANTLY WITH EACH STEP!!! I can't imagine how ANYONE would be able to wear this anywhere because of that! Too bad cuz although it IS thin material and I feel quite prone to rips, it is really a cute, fun, kinda whimsical piece that could have had its place under certain circumstances. I'm sorry I can't keep it. :-( I am STILL looking for a "real" leather, black, knee-length (~22" for me), pencil skirt OR a faux leather, black, knee-length (~22" for me), pencil skirt but can't find one ANYWHERE. Really pretty skirt, but runs small. Ordered a large for my granddaughter who typically wears a medium, it fit very tight. Liked the shiny material, but probably wouldn't order again. Read more

I have this skirt in 3 colors now. All of them hold up over time. They are mostly worn for photos and then put away, but when I have washed them, they hold up just fine. The skirt I've kept longest I've had for 3 years and it still looks new. It's just as fitting and flattering as ever. As for fit, these skirts have some stretch to them so they are forgiving on many body types. I have fluctuated from 145-175 at 5'6" tall. The M starts to get a little tight over 160 or so pounds.
