This sweater is beautiful and soft. I love the shade of green, it’s perfect year round but especially for the holiday season. I deducted one star because the sweater is not true to size, it is very generously sized. I’m currently a women’s US 16, I ordered an XL, I need to go down a size, probably 2 sizes. It may be hard to tell in my photos but it’s hanging off me. The photo I attached with a yellow sweater on top is for comparison to another XL short sleeve sweater I own. I think my yellow sweater runs larger than most of my sweaters and this green sweater is even larger than that. I estimate this is about 6” larger around and 1-2 inches longer than I expected for an XL. If I had sized down 1-2 sizes, I think it would be very flattering with some extra fabric and drape to hide your tummy (based on the shape I think this would be forgiving around the waist even in a smaller size, it has stretch and drapes). If you prefer really loose fitting clothing, order your normal size, if you want something more true to size then I strongly recommend sizing down. Read more

I love this top much more than I thought I would. I’ll start by saying it’s probably the most comfortable one I now own. I hosted Thanksgiving dinner and wore it all day. Took off my apron to sit down for the meal and felt dressed up enough to be festive. Meant to take a picture that day, but was too busy & forgot. It’s a “sweater”, but did not feel like one. I never once got hot - at my age, that’s saying something! It has the most buttery soft feel to it. I am surprised at the quality for the price, I’d like to get another in a different color. I grabbed this adorable lightweight short-sleeve sweater with a crewneck, and I am so glad I did. It is absolutely adorable in person. The material is soft, cozy, and has a really pretty pointelle knit design as you see in the pictures. Little diamond shapes with delicate openwork detailing. Because of that open knit, the sweater has slight sheerness in the patterned areas. It’s not overly see-through, but with the black color I ordered, my nude bra did show through a bit. A black bra fixes that completely, and for lighter colors a nude bra will work best. Just something to keep in mind depending on how much coverage you like. One thing I really love is that this top can be worn on its own or layered. Even though it’s short sleeve, it would be adorable over a fitted cap-sleeve top with a collar peeking out. That would give it a sweet, preppy vibe without adding bulk. Fit-wise, it’s feminine, flattering, and has a soft, slightly vintage feel. It’s lightweight without feeling thin, and perfect for pairing with jeans, trousers, or a skirt. The quality is lovely for the price. Overall, this is a really pretty and versatile sweater. Beautiful and amazingly soft women's sweaters. This is a thin, short sleeve sweater. Definitely not for very cold weather. It is delicate, but made well.
