Life Extender for Dell Optiplex

These drives are perfect for older machines that need a new lease on life. I have used Samsung hard drives for years - alongside Western Digital and Hitachi - and have yet to have any real problems with them. This is an older drive, so the speed is not as great as the newer units, but it works perfectly for what I needed it for: extending the life of a Dell desktop that had a failing drive in it. It is surprisingly hard to find smaller platter drives these days, but the school I do IT support for needed a smaller drive for one of their classroom PCs and this fit the bill. The condition of the drive was excellent and works flawlessly. Considering the price, you can't got wrong if you need a smaller platter drive. Read more
