Awesome Smart TV

Jerry W.December 26, 2025

I consider buying this Samsung 43Q7F tv an awesome choice!! I wanted the 50" but had to settle for the 43" because of limited space in my small apartment. However other than size difference, I'm satisfied with my choice. #AwesomePictureQuality, #Affordable, #ExtremelyHighTech, #Eazy2SetUp and many more positive qualities... Before I paid for it on Amazon, I read some of the reviews and came across same negativity but I was skeptical and my curiosity got the better of me, I bought it... My very first smart tv was a SAMSUNG 32-inch Class LED Smart FHD TV 1080P (UN32N5300AFXZA, 2018 Model) which I bought on Amazon Prime in 2020. For years I've tag myself as a Samsung-Man when it comes to phones so it was easy to select the Samsung brand for my first smart tv. On unboxing that first Samsung tv, I felt elated and as time passes, I get more familiar with the device and was never disappointed with it. However, excessively high power serge from my electricity provider damaged it. As a result, here I am, with my second smart tv and another Samsung brand. I received my device well wrapped and protected and in perfect condition, no damage... So for, as I'm preparing this refiew, it's not 24 hours as yet since I completed the unboxing and setting up. My excitement is far above what it was for the first tv at the time of unboxing. Maybe is because of the size difference and the awareness of the superior Specs differences... Yet with what I've experienced so far, I'm so happy that I couldn't wait to tell others that if they're in doubt about buying this tv, that they need not be. Check my #HashTags at the beginning of my review. I find that the cost is affordable. Initially, when I started the setting up, I became a little apprehensive about then discovered that it was very easy and quick. It allowed me to us my Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Smartthings app to do the setting up. I'm happy with how images on screen are so clean and clear and it is so modern compared to my previous Samsung tv and I'm still learning about it. I've just started using it but I'm happy with my choice and I have given it 5 Stars.... Read more

The TV and support are outstanding.

bc68251December 9, 2025

First the TV: brilliant, sharp, easy to navigate. Picture is stunning, setup is trivial, even the sound is outstanding. Now the service and support: the TV arrived with a hot pixel (one always on bright). I called, and Amazon picked it up and dropped off a new one, within 3 days, during the busy holiday season. I am very happy. Read more

Great TV

Matthew c.December 22, 2025

Very clear picture and bright colors. The menu has certainly improved since my last samsung tv purchase. The solar cell remote takes a little getting used to but overall isn't as bad as some people say. Sound output quality over eARC is great. Was easy to set up overall. Delivery drivers were very courteous. Read more

Great TV, great price, and arrived in perfect condition!

AnnaOctober 10, 2025

I was a little nervous ordering a TV from Amazon after seeing some reviews about cracked screens, but mine arrived in perfect condition! I upgraded from an old 55” 2011 Sony Bravia and wanted a 65”, so I did a lot of research before choosing this Samsung, and I’m so glad I did. The picture quality and colors are amazing, and the TV itself is so much thinner and lighter than my old one. It connected easily via Bluetooth to my 2014 surround sound and subwoofer, and paired seamlessly with my Apple TV. It also has tons of built-in apps if I ever want to stream directly without using my Apple TV. The TV looks amazing so far, I’m just waiting for my new swivel stand to come in before I take the plastic off. Overall, I’m super happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality upgrade at a great price. I hope this TV lasts as long as my last! Read more

Good But...

William A. FullerNovember 14, 2025

I am reviewing the 65 inch model. Once I got it set up properly (took more than a week) picture quality is quite good. Not good enough for people obsessed with black levels, but plenty bright and color can be made to be pretty accurate. Sound is amazingly bad. You will definitely need a sound bar or fancy home theatre setup. In theory you can use the Q-Symphony feature to use the built in speakers to augment your sound bar. Don't. The sound coming out of the built in speakers shouldn't be used for anything ever. The remote supplied is even worse. I don't know who it was that decided that less is more when it comes to remotes, but they definitely got it wrong. Using the Smart Things app is significantly better, but there is important stuff the app can't do, and pulling out my phone or iPad to make simple adjustments is stupid to put it bluntly. The Homepage GUI isn't any better. Hidden settings are a nightmare. I found some important stuff that should have been turned on by default (eArc and UHD on inputs especially) are in fact turned off by default. I found the settings to turn them on once, but I have not been able to find them again. Obvious they are not. In short, the TV is something of a nightmare to set up. One thing that definitely helped was a video on TouTube that showed the presenter holding up a different Samsung remote with all of the useful buttons which he said was available for $10. It looked very familliar as it appeared to be the remote Samsung supplied with older TVs, because that's what it was. I happened to have 3 of these on hand, and they ended up solving the remote issue. I realize this is sounding like a very negative review for something I am rating at 4 stars, but once I got through the week long frustration of setting it up the way it needed to be set up, it really is quite nice for my needs. I don't use cable or over the air functions. I have a fancy Samsung Q990D soundbar, and I use my only inputs are my Apple TV streaming box, and a Sony BluRay player. Those are connected to the sound bar with only the picture being passed through to the TV. I use the Apple TVstreaming box to control the inputs and volume. I will never need to use the supplied remote again as my old Samsung remotes from older TVs are fine. But really once you get it set up to your liking the Samsung remote can be completely ignored forever. Pretty much every recent TV has awful sound, so some other sound source is pretty much necessary no matter what TV you buy. The price is good and the picture is fine. One other thing they hide is the privacy option set. They are there, but hidden with the implication in the title that it is just a privacy policy to read. The options to turn stuff off is something you have to scroll for. Pretty sleazy, but that's ture of everybody in the TV business. So at this point I am genuinely enjoying the product after a week of frustration. Read more
