I've had this TV for two years and this is a quality TV, I love it. It looks really good. 99% of people will think the picture looks great. Make sure you use quality HDMI cables, use 8k versions. The remote battery lasts a long time. Right now I can't remember the last time I had to charge it. It's bluetooth so no aiming at the tv. I've never had a lag issue. It's always been good. The app for your phone recently got a lot better because before it was garbage. It wouldn't even recognize my tv was on for about a year or so. Recent update improved that a lot. I recommend paying extra for set up. I was not prepared for how large the tv was and just barely got it set up on the stand I had. I had just paid for them to deliver it inside my door. I was by myself and barely got it lifted, the tv has some flex to it. the price now two years later is affordable and even two years old this is worth getting especially if price is an issue. It's still a quality tv Read more

Likes: easy to setup since I already had account with Samsung .Its much easier to connect with internet if you use Ethernet connection .The weight of TV was little surprising when I set the tv up myself ,much easier if you use two.Packing was outstanding for great protection and preservation in shipping .I used SMART THINGS APP of Samsung and calibrated tv with my IPhone and it was an outstanding and easy setup.Picture quality is beautiful ,sound I use Yamaha receiver and connectivity was flawless .DIRECTV 4K channels are so beautiful .Electronics of Samsung is a perfect choice you cannot go wrong .I highly recommend this Tv even though they say it’s mid range .Watching tv at a slight angle was unnoticeable of any flaws .Overall I give this Tv ease of assembly A+,Picture quality A+,Sound A,Remote you will lose because it is small if not careful but it serves its purpose .Amazon delivery was handled with care and excellent . Good while it lasted, and unfortunately I cannot recommend. I have bought Samsung televisions exclusively for two decades. The television in my daughter's room was one of the first 240hz refresh rate TVs made widely available-we bought it back in 2010, and it's still kicking with perfect picture and great sound. However, this TV only lasted 18 months! I bought this TV to replace a top-of-the-line LG TV that we had been gifted-the LG only lasted about 4 years before the screen failed. I bought this TV in November 2023 as a Christmas gift for the family. Out of the box, it was wonderful-crisp picture, great features-it's one of the only smart TVs where I actually use the "smart" features. However, after 18 months of use, we have a line of discolored pixels running up the center of the TV. It was subtle at first, but now it's impossible to ignore. It's cliche to say they don't make them like they used to; in this case it's literally the truth. Read more

Bought this at least a year ago but deserves a quick shout-out. I have Samsung TVs in almost every room in the house. They are just reliable like the old Panasonic HDTVs when 720/1080 first came online and Panny was building all the panels for manufacturers. Now Samsung drives that market with price/quality. Great picture for TV, sports, and movies. I have it in my basement game room and its both big and impressive. Only docking it a star because the baseplate stand is not the most robust and the TV leans just a bit forward/down once mounted to it. Not much, but enough to notice. It just needs beefed up a bit but if you plan to wall mount the TV, then it wont matter. Read more

I spent a lot of time reading the specs on 4K and 8K models. I opted for 4K as the overwhelming content is in 4K. I chose this model for its overall superior qualities, first off most of the bargain units you find are 60 Hz which can lead to motion blur in action scenes and sporting events. This unit is 120Hz. Inputs the bargain units have a couple HDMI This one has Four HDMI, 1 Coaxial, 1 Network, 1 Optical and they even included 2 USB. The picture quality is excelent, The set auto adjusts brightness much better than my older Sony XBR which I was happy with. The second I connected my computer to this monitor my computer recognized it and adjusted itself properly, the disply was a perfect fit on the screen. 4K res and the font was big enough to read comfortably. I am not a game player so I cannot offer to review on what I have not done. As for the built in AI feature, the unit offers the user to have "Alexa" or Samsungs "Bixby" As we already had an Alexa device in the room I opted to configure the Bixby option. Both are equally as frustraiting and flawed, and helpful as you allow them to be. This particular model comes with Samsun+ tv a very nice freebee it does require high speed interet to funtion. "As does the AI. I hope you find this helpful. Read more
