This is a good solid 5v charger block. I have an amp meter to test my chargers with, and this put out a consistent 1.42 amps when charging my smart phone. It's rated at 3 amps but there is no way for me to confirm that it puts out that much amperage as my phone only pulls the standard 1 to 1.5 amps. I don't have anything else that requires 5v and pulls more than 1.5 amps. One very good feature of this charger is that it is rated to provide 9v at a little over 2 amps and 12v at a little over 1.6 amps. Again, I have no way to test that as I don't have any devices that require those voltages. But the fact that it is rated to do so and gives you the option to use it at those voltages is a very nice feature. A very good value for what it does. Read more

It's always good to have a couple of extra charging cubes when you're on the road, and these fit the bill perfectly. Everybody needs extra charging blocks. My son steals one every time he comes home from college. The charger was surprisingly fast. Apple Iphone 12 (I know, its old) 80% battery health - charged from 3%-100% in 23 minutes. Adaptive charge on my Google Pixel worked great as well. The horizontal design means they will not block other outlets even on a power strip. Took these on our last trip and they worked great.
