This pen feels like a much more expensive pen. It writes really smooth in such a pleasing way. It is extremely well balanced in the hand. I got it as a present for another pen aficionado and he really enjoys it. It doesn’t skip on the paper at all. I would love to see this pen in a navy blue or gun metal grey. Read more

Purchased the pen in November but had only used it at home for the first two months but started carrying it to work. That is when it started to fail, the paint on the body has no primer so it just scuffs off and the threads for the pen cap are just a press fit plastic insert so over time the wiggling of going in and out of my pocket stripped the very short plastic threads so the metal tip no longer stays in. The cap also very quickly lost it's snappy catch so it no longer stayed on and would come off on it's own. I'd look elsewhere for a better quality pen. The only good thing I can say is the steel body was a bit heavy but I prefer my pens on the weightier side. Read more

Got this for daily farm-office signing and festival paperwork. Two months of hard use. Build & feel: All-metal body, deep matte dark-red lacquer with brushed gunmetal trim. Weight 38 g—perfect balance, no fatigue after writing dozens of breed cards. Grip section is textured metal, zero slip even with sweaty hands. Screw-on cap posts securely (won’t fly off when I toss it in the truck console). Writing performance: Comes with two genuine Schmidt 888F black ceramic rollerball refills. Writes butter-smooth from the first stroke—no skipping, no hard starts, even on cheap receipt paper. Medium line (~0.6 mm) is wet but quick-drying—lefty-friendly. Ink is waterproof once dry (survived coffee spill test). Refills & longevity: Schmidt refills are the gold standard—still on the first one after ~400 signatures and pages of notes. Second refill stays in the metal storage tube inside the box. Bottom line: Best everyday luxury rollerball I’ve owned under $50. Writes like a $150 pen, looks sharp on the desk, tough enough for farm life. Already bought a second in black for the house. If you sign your name a hundred times a day, this is the one. Read more
