Tiny, fast, and rock solid. This Extreme Fit USB-C drive lives in my laptop and occasionally the car, without sticking out like a snag hazard and moves files far quicker than a typical flash drive. Real-world transfers feel snappy for photos, videos, and large documents, and the USB-C plug skips adapter nonsense. One caveat: if you’re a brute like me, the ultra-low profile means you could snap it off if you’re careless, so treat it with a bit of respect when wiggling it out. Perfect for plug and stay storage. This is a God-send! i've wanted this for the longest. It works very well. speeds are amazing. What makes this one of one is how well it's been designed. It fits very snug on the macbook pro. Not just the connection, but the actual design itself. I'm already looking to buy another one but waiting for the price to come down. Would also like the 1tb version but they are out of stock. A future version would be if it allowed pass-through. Now that would be a "Shut Up and Take my Money" feature. So happy with this. i just store everything on there and i don't have to hunt for flashdrives anymore. Read more
I am super thrilled with this USB-C drive. It's very affordable for the huge amount of storage that it offers, making it a great value. The small form factor was the big selling point for me. I recently bought a new car (a 2025 Volkswagen Jetta GLI) that has no CD player, and I really don't like relying on streaming when I'm driving because app glitches distract me from the road. My only option was to rip my CDs to a flash drive, and since my car only has USB-C ports, my choices were limited. Because my USB-C ports are located directly behind my manual transmission shifter, I couldn't buy just any USB-C drive; I needed a very small form factor to fit behind my stick shifter. This USB drive fits perfectly! It's almost flat, so it's almost like it isn't even there, and it easily hides out of the way of my manual transmission shifter. It is completely compatible with my Volkswagen, and now I have days of music permanently stored in my car without having to be distracted with streaming apps. I highly recommend this item! Read more
Bought this for my MacBook Pro to expand storage without carrying an external drive. After proper benchmarking with fio, here are the ACTUAL speeds: Read: 381 MB/s ✓ - Matches the advertised "up to 400MB/s" Write: 160 MB/s ✗ - Nowhere near the "400 MB/s" listed in specs The asymmetric performance is typical for this price range, but SanDisk should be clearer about write speeds. Pros: - Incredibly small - barely sticks out from USB-C port (true "plug-and-stay") - Read speeds are legit fast - 1TB in this tiny form factor is impressive - Works great as permanent Mac storage expansion Cons: - Write speed is 2.5x slower than advertised - Gets noticeably warm during sustained transfers (not dangerously hot, but warm to touch) - Thermal throttling likely kicks in on very large writes Mac expansion tip: Format as APFS, create a symlink from ~/Documents or ~/Downloads to folders on the drive. Instant 1TB expansion without thinking about it. If you need fast reads and can live with average writes, it's solid. If you're constantly writing large files, look elsewhere. For $120/1TB in this form factor, it does the job Read more
I love this compact little drive. Fits perfectly in one of the two USB-C ports in my MacBook Air. It’s perfectly sized to just avoid blocking the other port. Also, the drive leaves just enough space between the computer and drive to avoid impacting the case I have around the computer. Clearly whoever designed this drive thought very carefully about the dimensions. Speed (& capacity) of the drive feels quite good for my purpose of running a Windows 11 virtual machine on it. Pretty useful when needing that extra bit of storage without carrying a bulky drive. I use it on my MacBook a lot. Transfer speeds are pretty good considering its size. If you need a drive for photo storage, this is perfect!. Fits perfectly between a wired hub and the charger. Read more

I have quite a few albums that I store on a USB for use in my car. This drive is small and not easy noticeable compared to other designs. Have had no issues with speed or compatibility. For $30, I have more than enough capacity to handle all the albums I own now, plus others I will add in the future. I'd buy this again. Read more
