I’m really enjoying this zip-up rashguard. I live in SoCal and swim 3x/week during the summer. I purchased it to protect my skin and to add to the convenience of not having to apply sunscreen to my back & shoulders. I especially appreciate how the shirt is designed even to cover the hands. I do experience some ‘drag’ from the shirt while doing laps, but I’m quickly getting used to it. For me, the convenience is worth it. The fabric is somewhat thicker and more substantial than most other rash guards that I’ve worn and I like that as well. It doesn’t cling to the body like a traditional rash guard does, so may not be the best choice for under a wetsuit (e.g. when surfing, etc) The full-zip makes this shirt easy on/off once wet and it seems to drip dry quickly. Runs true to size, no need to size up. Dries quickly. I dont much care for the thumb holes, but that is me. It appears to be good quality. Zips easily. Color is bright! I certainly stand out with bright pink. I am happy with it thus far. Read more

In Australia the sun is very strong & while on a ship in the Great Barrier Reef a tour guide said in November stinger suits or “rashies” like hers (pointing to my rash guard) are highly recommended. I used mine and felt protected from both! Read more

This rash guard fit looser than my other more traditional rash guards which fit close to the body. I believe this is more like a blouse jacket but not so much for water activities because it would rise up. Also the pockets have no zippers to contain your small important items in the water. I wear my rash guards for snorkeling in the ocean and floating in the pool so I want it to stay close to my skin & down around my waist & hips. I am petite in size so maybe this rash guard is for a bigger framed person. My opinion, I think this product would be perfect to wear on a boat, beach, poolside, etc., any activity where you are in the sun but not in the water. Read more

I wear a large-xl (5’6, 190lb), so purchased the xl. It fits but is snug, a slight sausage look. My bathing suit top has extra material so a size up would have been better to accommodate. Pockets are on the side which helps keep things from falling out. The material silky smooth and is not extremely thick so does get a little opaque when wet.
