True beach coverup. I liked that it had a hood and long sleeves. I did not feel hot in it but protected from the sun. It hangs down to mid thigh on my 5ft 4 in frame. I ordered the white in a medium. I’m 5’9”, 155 lbs, and the fit was comfortable overall. The color was a true, bright white, not dingy or off-white, and it looked great over my swimsuit. The fabric is soft, lightweight, and breathable. It did exactly what I needed it to do as a sun-protective layer. Most importantly, when zipped up, it gave me enough coverage to walk through the resort, grab lunch, or wander the lobby without feeling like I was just parading around in a bathing suit. It read like real clothing, which is a win in my book. But the sleeves. The sleeve length was comically short. I know I have longer-than-average arms, but this was short even for me. I’d be surprised if it hit the wrist properly on someone with average proportions. I ended up pushing the sleeves up most of the time and pretending it was intentional. I really like this product and have even had compliments on it. Even though it’s pitched as a swimsuit coverup, I use it as a lightweight jacket here in south Florida when I go to the grocery store or when the occasional cool front comes through. A wonderful cool light layer for sun protection on vacation. Really helped keep me from getting burned. Al Sadie a nice layer for going into air conditioned restaurants.
