This is a VERY soft and comfortable sweater. It is so thick and warm, not scratchy at all, just very lived in, it feels like. But the arms are SO long, too. Now, my wife is short, so maybe for someone of average or taller height, it's fine. But for her, it would be perfect if the cuffs of the sleeves were more fitted or had some elasticity to them to grab a bit. As is, the sleeves fall past her hands constantly. The color is beautiful. I have a similar cable knit sweater in the same color, and it's on trend. I think it's a lay flat to dry, as many knits are, but otherwise the handling of this in washing and such is fine. We use a delicate, hand wash cycle, and it's done fine. So washability is good. You just need to have a plan for laying it flat to dry. Luckily, Amazon has a few options for that. Read more

This is a warm garment. The colors and appearance are as described and depicted in the post. I got the kaki color. The fabric is comfortable and semi wrinkle resistant. The fabric is heavy but still washes well and take about the same amount as other clothes to dry. The fit was as the size chart depicted. It fits the form well and isn't itchy or tight. Construction of the garmet is done well also. Over all this is of good quality and value. I would purchase this again. Read more

This sweater is nicely made of a somewhat loose knit, chunky cardigan style. I do love the cardigan styling of it and the Navy color is gorgeous. The knit is soft and comfortable to wear. On the inside of the sweater it has places here and there that have open-ended pockets (for lack of better words to describe it) that I first discovered when putting my arm into a sleeve and my fingers got caught in one of them. It seems to be wherever the stripe of the cardigan design crosses over another stripe, upon closer inspection. I have included a couple photos of them. Those pockets might be something for anyone with long nails to be careful of when putting the sweater on. The buttons are very pretty and perfectly sized without being too large or too small. I ordered this sweater in an XXL size. My normal size is XL, but for shirts, tops, sweaters, coats, etc. I most always order one size up as I prefer loose fitting clothes for my shoulders and torso. This sweater is one that should not be sized up as it is already oversized at the normal size a person wears. It's large enough on me that I could put it on over the top of a winter coat and it would still fit, lol. The bottom of the sleeves are not "cuffed", and they are wide and long, completely swallowing my hands. Over all, the sweater is a nice quality made sweater and I will recommend it. The navy color is so nice without being nearly a blue-black as often happens with navy blue coloring. I would purchase this again, but certainly in a smaller size than the XXL I got this sweater in, lol. Read more

This sweater is definitely oversized. It’s made of a slightly rough wool and loose cables. I think the threads would be easy to pull because the knitting is so loose. It has a really odd silhouette. Oversized usually means on the body, but the sleeves are more oversized than anything on this. It gives a bit of a bubble look to the body and the sleeves are well below my fingertips. This would be good for around the house when you want to feel cozy, but I would definitely wear a shirt underneath. Read more

The first thing I noticed about this cable knit cardigan sweater was the scent. It's very strong and offensive. It did fade a little bit after airing out the sweater. The sweater is very bulky and chunky which is the exact look a cable knit cardigan should be. The buttons are simple but add a pop of brightness to the black sweater. It seems very oversized or I just ordered a bit too large but that's the look I'll be going for. Very slouchy, oversized, and cozy. Would be great with leggings and boots for fall or even jeans.
