When I first showed this off, my son said, "Were you trying for 'High School English Teacher'?" I'll take that as a compliment. In fact, my husband and my daughter both said this was one of my better fashion choices. I like it too. The color and the pattern makes it easy to match with most clothes. This sweater is soft and comfortable while still being stylish enough to be out and about or in a business casual professional setting. In fact, I intend to bring this to work for days the building can't get the heat in sync as the outdoor temperatures fall. The sweater does not close at all - no buttons or other clasps. I do kind of wish it had a tie around the waist, but my son pointed out that that would look like a bathrobe. The sweater goes down almost to my knees, but then, I'm pretty short - if you are taller, it won't be that long. I like the fact that it goes down well over my ample behind. It's a little oversized, but not much. I do wish the gather at the wrists was a little tighter. I have short arms, so sweater sleeves tend to go over my hands, but a tight gather helps to prevent that. But nonetheless, I am pleased to have this sweater. Read more
