I don't know where I was when bell sleeves on dresses came back into style, but I am glad they did! They make every dress instantly more fun to wear and cuter. They take you back to a simpler time (or so we like to think.) This dress is as pictured as far as the color. Those sleeves are just as glorious in person. The A-line skirt will flatter most body types. As far as the fit, this one is a bodycon with some stretch, but not a lot. If you are between sizes, you will want to go up one if you don't want it to be too tight. You can see that the dress is way longer on me than the model in the listing, which is unexpected since I am 5'8" tall. But, this isn't a bad thing in my book. This is a solid 3.5-star dress for me. I’m 5’9, 200 lbs, and ordered an XL. This dress is true to size and fits me like a glove. A lot of dresses are too short on me since I’m tall, I usually end up with my behind nearly out. But this dress was the perfect length on me! It hangs low enough that I can more comfortably without having to worry about exposing myself, but is still short enough to give me that sexy feeling. I can already picture wearing it with knee high black boots once it gets a little cooler out. The fit & cut are so flattering on my body, (curvy/chubby mom body with an apron belly) this dress is tight where it needs to be then loose and flowy in all the right places. I feel like a hot mama in this dress for once! Even though the pleating on the skirt isn’t quite as defined as the listing pictures, it’s still very cute and moves nicely when I walk. The bell sleeves are such a highlight feature, it adds a feminine, slightly dramatic touch without being too much. They took this dress from basic yet great, to the star of the show.
