I ordered this hooded cardigan in a small, and wow! It’s VERY oversized. Definitely has that slouchy, cozy vibe, but if you’re looking for something more fitted, you might want to size down (if that’s even possible). It’s comfy and soft, and I like the hood and pockets for a casual look. With it being oversized, it is hard to keep from sliding off your shoulders because there are no buttons, ties, or any other way to hold it closed. It's definitely not thin but not super thick either, great for a northern fall or a southern winter sweater. That said, after one wash in the machine (on gentle) and hanging it to dry, it’s already showing a bit of wear. Not quite pilling, but little fuzzy spots that make it look older than it is. Honestly, when I first received this sweater, I wasn't sure what to make of it. It looked like a cross between a boxer's robe (hooded) and a traditional cardigan. But as I began to try it with different looks and wearing it different ways, the style grew on me. Before I knew it I was in love! This nearly knee-length acrylic blend open front sweater from Saodimallsu is a unique take on a cardigan coat. It comes in a variety of colors and I love them all I'll probably order it in a darker color also. The sweater has two big front pockets like a typical cardigan, but unlike a typical cardigan or coat, it has no front closure. No belt (the only drawback). It CAN easily be wrapped around your body with your arms, but truly, a simple eyelet hook would have made me "one star happier." As things stand, however, I'm incredibly impressed with this garment. It's lightweight, but heavy enough to be substantial. I love that it offers a hood as protection against bitter wind and snow. It can be worn under a larger jacket and over a sweater because it is roomy enough even in my typical size small to accommodate this. I can't possibly describe with words how soft this sweater is! But when I say it has a downy-like feel, multiply that by 10 and that's how lovely the sweater feels against your skin. As always with this brand, the fit is spot-on and the color is true. Though it looks like in the photos, this is a standard Gray color. The Saodimallsu quality is consistently perfect. They are my current go-to for everything sweater related. Whether wearing it around the house as a soft cozy way to keep warm, or out on a Fall or Winter evening, this sweater is sure to be a staple in my closet.
